The city is under siege and people are dying. Brutal murders are
being conducted from the shadows, with always one survivor
deliberately left to tell the tale. And all are saying the same
thing: Axiom-man has gone rogue. Now wanted by the law, Axiom-man
must find out who is masquerading as him and destroying the
reputation and trust he has strived so hard to build, while at the
same time flying beneath the radar in a city where everyone is
looking for him. Soon the city is locked down and death stalks
Axiom-man at every turn as the Special Force Unit and the Winnipeg
Police try and bring him to justice while he fights to clear his
name against an enemy who will stop at nothing to destroy him.

After exploring the city's underground in order to get a better
feel for the criminal fraternity, Gabriel-under the guise of
"Mike"-meets a young woman-Katie-who is more than what she seems.
What first starts out as a night of mere surveillance and
intelligence-gathering soon forces Gabriel to re-examine his
approach to crime fighting, discover his strengths and
shortcomings, all while trying to keep up with Katie, who is bent
on seeing through her own private crusade. With danger lurking at
every turn and Gabriel being forced to keep his identity-and
abilities-as Axiom-man a secret, he soon discovers he isn't the
only one hiding something. There are other players at work in the
city, those who would soon misuse a secret weapon for their own
purposes. As the clock ticks down and the violence escalates,
Gabriel must try and recover the weapon while also keeping Katie
safe. If he can keep up with her, that is. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: A.P.

than they have in their entire history. From major blockbusters

With long thin tails, beady eyes and usually carriers of plagues,
rats are one of the most reviled creatures on the planet. And for
good reason. Vicious in the extreme, rats will go to great lengths
to find food and have no qualms about feeding on human flesh if
there is a need. Imagine being trapped in the sewers of New York
while all around you are hundreds of rats, their hungry eyes
watching and waiting for a chance to attack. Or maybe you find
yourself in a garbage dump and are helpless, and as night begins to
fall, the rats come out to feed...on you. While digging a grave in
a cemetery, the rats are there, waiting for a chance to pounce. Or
one dark night, the rats enter your house while you sleep, to then
swarm over you while you lay helpless in bed. These are the stuff
of nightmares, of horrors best left in the dark. Welcome to Rat
War, where the battle to survive may not always be the outcome you
might expect, and where the worst enemy may be your own fear.

The war between Good and Evil has raged since before Time began.
Now it's ultimate power versus ultimate savagery. With ferocious
fangs, flesh-ripping claws and a feral hunger to destroy anything
in their path, werewolves are one of the most feared monsters on

metahumans, men and women with powerful abilities that set them
apart from the rest of humanity. Some wear costumes as symbols of
hope, others operate discreetly, using their special abilities for
good. Put these two groups of people together and you have a clash
between light and darkness that is sure to rock the foundation of
the world and bring about an epic battle unlike anything seen
before. Featuring familiar heroes like Axiom-man, Midnight Angel,

If only relationships were simple. While debating whether to reveal
his secret identity to Valerie, Gabriel's personal plans are put on
hold when darkness descends upon the city, each building, street
and alley covered in a strange black cloud akin to those from the
Doorway of Darkness. Only these clouds didn't descend from the sky.
They came from a mysterious shadowy being known as Bleaken. With
the city under the tyrant's control, pandemonium ensues and
violence erupts on the streets. Screams, gunshots and sirens fill
the air; fires are lit, blood is shed and people begin to die.
Axiom-man must navigate the darkness and put an end to Bleaken's
reign of terror before the entire city is destroyed under a veil of
black clouds and violence. Meanwhile, having grown closer as
friends, Valerie races into the dark, trying to find Gabriel to
make sure he's safe, only to succumb to a band of madmen on the way
that take her down a tunnel of torture and despair that threatens
her sanity and soul. If she doesn't escape, her fate will be sealed
and she will meet an end worse than death. With all hope lost and
the city covered in a sea of black clouds, Axiom-man must learn
what it takes to truly shine as a light in a dismal place and stand
strong against the tides of darkness emanating from all sides.
Many summers ago, an evil presence known as a Bloodan visited Camp
Silverway, a peaceful summer camp for teenage girls, and nearly
killed a young girl named Shelly. Mary Thompson, a girl on a bunk
bed near Shelly, watched as the creature made from blood and
darkness, began to sink into Shelly and begin to feed.Through tears
and cloudy vision, she also saw her friend rescued by a stranger in
a black cape, with blue fire blasting from his hand.Never
forgetting that night, Mary was tormented for years by the memory
of what she saw, and now, twenty-two years later, she has returned
to Camp Silverway as a camp counselor, trying to face her
fear. However, what starts out as a fun summer soon comes to an end
when not one, but several Bloodans return to the camp and begin
killing again. As before, the man in the black cape, Tarek,
reappears, yet he hasn't aged a day since he rescued Shelly long
ago.Shock upon shock ensues as Mary learns not only where the
creatures and her hero come from, but also when. The Bloodans
enclose the camp in a liquid red dome made of blood, and as
everyone around her gets killed and the monsters multiply, Mary,
her friend Sarah, and Tarek are left with no place to go.Except for
maybe one. What starts as a simple horror tale soon turns into a
spellbinding saga as the story takes you on a journey you have
never experienced before, stretching along the Strands of Time,
with life hanging by a thread. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: A.P. Fuchs is the
