When the 410 pretend to be muggers on a subway car and then stage an impromptu dance show for the somewhat bewildered passengers, Andie's guardian (Sonja Sohn) ships her off to the Maryland School of the Arts. Andie's urban street style, of course, goes against the grain of the strait-laced school... In 'Step Up 3' (2010), a group of young underground street dancers in New York - including Luke (Rick Malambri) and Natalie (Sharni Vinson) - team up with NYU students Moose (Adam G. Sevani) and Camille (Alyson Stoner) to take on the world's best hip hop dancers in the ultimate street dancing contest, an experience that will alter the course of all their lives. Finally, in 'Step Up 4 - Miami Heat' (2012), Kathryn McCormick stars as Emily, a girl from a wealthy family who arrives in Miami hoping to become a professional dancer, and soon falls for poor boy Sean (Ryan Guzman), leader of flash mob street dance crew MOB. Francis is very forthcoming when talking to Martha about his activities, but Martha doesn't realise at first that he is serious. Francis is a hitman of sorts, one whose moral compass leads him to assassinate the very people who hire him as punishment for them resorting to murder to get what they want. The new couple are being pursued however, and not just by gangsters who want to hire Francis but also by Francis' old partner, Hopper (Roth). Martha really likes Francis, but can she deal with the baggage that comes with him?

Gangsta life on a white tip as good white boys pretend to be bad black boys. Johnny Truelove (Emile Hirsch) is the leader of a pack of small-time hoods in late 90s Claremont , California. These white boys strut around, smoking dope, talking like the protagonists in the heavy rap songs they listen endlessly to and calling everyone in sight 'bitch'. They're not particularly impoverished, they live in pretty nice areas and don't have much need to resort to crime but they do anyway and when finally called upon to put up or shut up they go a step too far. Jake Mazursky, (Ben Foster) a fellow dealer has failed to repay a loan and furthermore failed to respect The Truelove. To make sure Jake knows he means business, Johnny and his pals Elvis (Shawn Hatosy), Bobby 911 (Alex Solowitz) and Frankie (Justin Timberlake) kidnap Jake's younger brother Zach (Anton Yelchin). Wantonness ensues as the tenure of this kidnapping turns into one long party in which, for example, Zach loses his virginity in a threesome. An ensemble cast sees Bruce Willis do a turn as Truelove's dad and elsewhere Sharon Stone and Harry Dean Stanton also turn in bit parts.

Critically-acclaimed drama starring Laurence Fishburne. Eleven-year-old Akeelah Anderson's (Keke Palmer) life is not easy: her father is dead, her mom ignores her and her brother runs with the local gangbangers. She's smart, but her environment threatens to strangle her aspirations. Responding to a threat by her school's principal, Akeelah participates in a spelling bee to avoid detention for her many absences. Much to her surprise and embarrassment, she wins. Her principal asks her to seek coaching from an English professor named Dr. Larabee (Fishburne) for the more prestigious regional bee. As the possibility of making it all the way to the Scripps National Spelling Bee looms, Akeelah could provide her community with someone to rally around and be proud of, but only if she can overcome her insecurities and her distracting home life.
