This book work was carried out at Antoniadis garden,
Alexandria-Egypt, through the years 2008-2013. It aimed to analyze
the situation of the garden in order to know the real reasons of
collapse so as to start development programs capable of pushing the
garden to help in the process of the international recognition of
Antoniadis as a botanical garden. Al-Nozha garden complex contains
four important gardens, Antoniadis garden, Rose garden, Zoological
garden & Al-Nozha public garden. The complex was founded 300
B.C., but Antoniadis garden was founded 1860 by Sir John Antoniadis
to be a private garden for his palace. The general layout of
Antoniadis Botanical garden is a kind of mixed style, subdivided
into 14 zones that are well illustrated & documented containing
all landscape features from hardscape components to plant content;
explaining the floristic composition of the garden in layouts and
tables. Also a new conceptual design was drafted to enrich the
Floristic composition of the garden & adding some new garden
components to increase its value, in addition to collecting
visitors' data to explain the decrease in visitors' numbers
visiting the garden with the reasons of decrease.
Leeches (Class: Hirudinea) are widely distributed all over the
world in various habitats, such as freshwater, seas, desert, and
oases (Gouda, 2006).Leech are forbidden (Haram) for consumption as
a food, but it is recommended (Sunnah) for cosmetic purposes and as
medical products. Nowadays, the breeding of leeches for medical
purposes has bright commercial potential and of late many
entrepreneurs have embarked on the farming of leeches. In this
study, understanding the growth conditions required could help
maximize the quality of leech farming and those for medical
purposes. It is common knowledge that when the leech ceases to
feed, the host bleeds for a long time. It has long been known that
leeches contain a substance with anticoagulant properties namely
hirudin protein. Numerous studies with experimental animal models
have been performed that corroborated the antithrombotic efficacy
of hirudin (Kaiser, 1991). However, in Malaysia work on gathering
more information on hirudin protein is still far and between. In
this study, the detection and quantification of protein extracted
from leech, followed by protein purification and profiling for this
this local leeches were carried out

The study was conducted to determine the optimum protein level for
laying hens during its third production cycle ad its effects on the
production performance and egg quality. 36 White Leghorn single
comb commercial layers of Euribred strains of uniform body weight
were randomly selected. The birds were divided into 9 experimental
units randomly. Each unit contained four birds. Moult was induced
by 10 days fasting and three days water deprivation, followed by
feeding crushed maize grains for 25 days on skip a day basis. 3
isocaloric rations containing 15.5, 17.0 and 18.5% crude protein
were allotted to the birds randomly so that each treatment contains
3 replicates & fed for eight weeks to hens during their post
moult egg production period. Data on egg production, feed
consumption and body weight of hens were collected and physical
characteristics of eggs (weight, shell thickness, haugh unit valve,
yolk index, blood and meat spots) and chemical analysis of egg
albumen with respect to protein contents, amino acid profile, macro
minerals (Na, K, Ca, CI) and micro mineral (Mn, Fe, Zn, Cu) of egg
albumen as well as yolk were determined during this period.

during which he wrote and received many letters from world leaders.
The seventy-one letters presented in this volume-by Dr Mahathir,
Tony Blair, Prince Charles, Margaret Thatcher, George W. Bush and
