This volume constitutes the refereed post-workshop proceedings of two IFIP WG 13.7 workshops on Human-Computer Interaction and Visualization: the 7th HCIV Workshop on Non-formal Modelling for Interaction Design, held at the 29th European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics, ECCE 2011, in Rostock, Germany, in August 2011 and the 8th HCIV Workshop on HCI and Visualization, held at the 13th IFIP TC 13 Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, INTERACT 2011, in Lisbon, Portugal, in September 2011. The 15 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected for inclusion in this volume. They cover a wide range of topics in the fields of non-formal modeling, visualization and HCI and provide visions from researchers working at or across the borders between these domains that may help develop a holistic cross-discipline.

This tutorial book features an augmented selection of the material presented at the GI-Dagstuhl Research Seminar on Human-Centered Visualization Environments, HCVE 2006, held in Dagstuhl Castle, Germany in March 2006. It presents eight tutorial lectures that are the thoroughly cross-reviewed and revised versions of the summaries and findings presented and discussed at the seminar.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of theFirst International Workshop on Usability and Accessibility focused RequirementsEngineering, UsARE 2012, held in Zurich, Switzerland, in June 2012 in conjunctionwith ICSE 2012, the 34th International Conference on Software Engineering, and theSecond International Workshop, UsARE 2014, held in Karlskrona, Sweden, in August2014, in the course of RE 2014, the 22nd International Requirements EngineeringConference.This book consists of 10 chapters of which 9 are extended versions of the paperspresented at the two UsARE events. Amongst them, 3 are extended versions of thepapers presented at UsARE 2012 and 6 are extended versions of papers presented atUsARE 2014 - rounded off by a new chapter that was added as authors are doingrelevant work on the same topic. The chapters are organized into three sectionsaccording to their main focus: usability and user experience, accessibility andapplications.
