Widely credited as one of the originators of the UK breakbeat scene, Adam Freeland is the latest entry in DMC's Back To Mine series. DMC, launched in 1983, is the worlds largest DJ organization and were the original publishers of Mixmag, the worlds largest dance music magazine. DMC began compiling mix tapes in the early 90s. 20 years later, DMCs Mixmag Presents series has released compilations from the cream of dance DJs. DMCs premier series, Back to Mine, was set up in early 1999 and originally featured big name DJs playing what theyd play if you went back to their house after a set in a club. Since then, the series has diversified to include volumes from bands and artists.
