The Psychology and Neuroscience of Impulsivity is the first book to provide a comprehensive overview of impulsivity and related psychological and neural substrates. The book is divided into four sections, the first section, will provide the readers with a general overview of impulsivity, neural and cognitive substrates of impulsive behaviors, and the relationship between impulsivity and risk-taking behaviors. The second section discusses the links between impulsivity and erroneous behaviors, such as anger and aggressive behaviors and interpersonal violence. The third section reviews how impulsive behaviors are key features of several clinical disorders, such as pathological gambling, drug abuse, and antisocial personality disorder. The last section, presents possible treatment options for impulsivity, including a number case studies.

This landmark study is the first comprehensive exploration of the `Proportioned Script', an Arabic writing system attributed to the Abbasid wazir (minister) Ibn Muqla and the master scribe Ibn al-Bawwab that has dominated the art of Arabic and Islamic penmanship from the 10th century to the present day. Volume One, `Sources and Principles of the Geometry of Letters', traces the origin of the Proportioned Script to the cross-cultural encounter between Greek learning and the scientific, artistic and philosophical pursuits of classical Islam. On the basis of instructions in surviving sources it identifies a grid module that serves as a common foundation for the design of all the Arabic letter shapes. In Volume Two, `From Geometric Pattern to Living Form', the authors construct each of the letter shapes on the grid module and compare their findings to samples traced by two classical master scribes. They conclude by examining the religious, aesthetic and cosmological significance of the Proportioned Script in the wider context of the Islamic cultural heritage. Drs Moustafa and Sperl have succeeded in unearthing the very foundations of Arabic penmanship, with implications for the arts of Islam as a whole.

Arresting of development for oocytes development stages is one of the important problem facing researchers and reduce the rate of maturation and fertilization in vivo and in vitro. Many researchers are moving towards adding different supplementations in medium to raise maturation and fertilization rate in vitro. Since ten years ago, many researchers investigated the role of Leptin in reproduction and fertility. Leptin is a cytokine hormone, 167 amino acids and 16 K-Da. It is secreted primarily by adipose tissues. Leptin increases the proportion of oocytes that is developed to blastocysts. Adding Leptin to IVM medium by different levels enhances the maturation rate of in vitro rabbit oocytes. In this work, author was trying to investigate the effect of Leptin supplementation at different levels in IVM medium on rabbit oocyte maturation.
