When a famous athlete (Anthony Sagar) dies on a golf course, his detective son Jack (Gerald Harper) supects murder, despite the coroner's misadventure verdict. In pursuit of the facts and events behind his death, Jack embarks on a murder hunt that takes him into the seedy underworld of the Soho red-light district. As the body count rises Jack's suspicions are proved correct but will he be able to discover the mystery behind it all?

John Thaw stars in this 1960s drama series written by Francis Durbridge. The series follows lovers Mark (Thaw) and Diana (Sylvia Sims) who wish to be together but Diana's husband Geoffrey (Noel Johnson) refuses to grant her a divorce. Realising their only way to happiness is to murder Geoffrey, Diana shoots her husband and Mark arrives to help her dispose of the body. When the body disappears, however, Diana receives a phone call from her husband blackmailing her to meet him or be arrested for attempted murder.

All four classic Doctor Who stories featuring the alien species, the Sontarans, who first appeared in the 1973 story, 'The Time Warrior'. The Sontarans are a self -cloning race who live in a militaristic society in the 'southern spiral arm of the galaxy'. Humanoid in appearance, with a squat build and distinctive dome-shaped heads, they are far stronger than mere humans and possess an unquenchable thirst for war. The other stories in this set are 'The Invasion of Time' (1977), 'The Two Doctors' (1984) and 'The Sontaran Experiment' (1975).

The Doctor is on a mission, travelling back to the middle ages to locate some missing scientists. He is, however, seriously inconvenienced when he meets a Sontaran warrior. Jon Pertwee stars.

Another adventure for everyone's favourite time-traveller. The Doctor (Tom Baker), Romana and K9 find themselves suspected of being drug smugglers when they arrive on the Empress, a luxury liner. The Empress has become merged with another craft, the Hecate, after colliding during a hyperspace jump. Somebody on board the Empress is smuggling Vraxoin, a deadly addictive drug, and matters are complicated still further when the Mandrells, a race of monsters being transported from the planet Eden, are let loose on board the ship.
