However, when Peggy is then kidnapped by bank robbers, Charlie is forced to put his issues to one side and rally the drivers at Speedee Taxis in a bid to rescue her and bring her home to safety. A maritime expedition of eminent Victorian scientists sets out to find a mysterious artefact. They are attacked by a giant octopus, and when they awake they find that they are now captives of the legendary Warlord of Atlantis - master of the undersea kingdom.
