Alexander Bruno Hanschmann hat sich der Biografie des franzosischen
Wissenschaftlers Bernard Palissy (1510 - 1589) angenommen, wobei er
neben der Darstellung der wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse Palissys
einen ganz eigenen Blickwinkel verfolgt. Von der wissenschaftlichen
Herangehensweise Palissys ausgehend, schlagt Hanschmann einen Bogen
zur Induktionstheorie Bacons und zeigt Palissys Einfluss darauf
auf. Sorgfaltig bearbeiteter Nachdruck der Originalausgabe von
1903.
