Coming-of-age British war drama based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo. Tommo (George McKay) and Charlie (Jack O'Connell) are two teenaged brothers from a poor Devonshire family. The outbreak of World War One shatters the family's rural idyll as both boys join up, leaving behind the beautiful Molly (Alexandra Roach), with whom they are both passionately in love.
