Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain
imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made
available for future generations to enjoy.
From 1992 until 2012, John authored his "Questions and Answers"
column in every issue of American Rose. He answered the questions
clearly, thoroughly and in an entertaining fashion. Many questions
required hours of research to give a truly complete answer, but
John tackled all comers. This compilation covers the most
pertinent, and the most interesting, questions (and answers) from
20 years of "Questions and Answers" in American Rose. It is a
treasure of information which you will enjoy and find useful.
