In the last decade, female entrepreneurship has gained considerable
attention from both academicians and policymakers. Despite the
proliferation of studies, this field of research is characterized
by being a highly multidisciplinary and dispersed field,
encompassing studies from a wide range of disciplines such as
business and management, education, political science, technology,
and innovation. To legitimize female entrepreneurship as a distinct
field of research, it is important to deepen the scientific
reasoning regarding women entrepreneurs while promoting the
theoretical consolidation of this area of knowledge. Female
Entrepreneurship as a Driving Force of Economic Growth and Social
Change presents what researchers have learned so far about female
entrepreneurship, namely the main motivations that lead women to
undertake it and the characteristics of this type of business, as
well as the impact of context and technology on the promotion and
management of companies by women. In doing so, it contributes to a
better understanding of this phenomenon and how it is different
from male entrepreneurship, allowing a better delimitation of this
field of research. Covering topics such as diversity, innovation,
social entrepreneurship, and gender, this premier reference source
is ideal for business owners, entrepreneurs, managers, researchers,
scholars, academicians, practitioners, instructors, and students.
Universities are becoming more entrepreneurial, and for local
communities and companies, this has increased their economic
standings tenfold. However, the competitiveness of developing
economies thanks to these financially focused institutions has
likewise increased. Examining the Role of Entrepreneurial
Universities in Regional Development provides emerging research
exploring how universities foster and support entrepreneurship and
the development of a more entrepreneurial organization and
highlights the importance of this process for local communities and
companies. Featuring coverage on a broad range of topics such as
institutional entrepreneurship, public management, and economic
contribution, this book is ideally designed for university
presidents, provosts, rectors, chancellors, board members,
managers, business professionals, policymakers, academicians,
students, and researchers.
Entrepreneurship education has gained considerable interest in the
last decade, both in the political and academic arenas, because it
fosters innovation and plays a crucial role in developing the
business landscape. However, instructors are faced with challenges
related to creating successful learning objectives, suitable
methodologies, and measuring the impact of these programs. Global
Considerations in Entrepreneurship Education and Training provides
an interdisciplinary approach to foster and support
entrepreneurship and the development of entrepreneurial competences
in students. Providing insights from developed and developing
countries, it features coverage on a broad range of topics such as
learning environments, blended learning approaches, learning
methodologies, and teacher education. This book is ideally designed
for academics, university teachers, researchers, post-graduate
students, and developers and researchers.
Corpus linguistics was initiated with the compilation and
exploitation of native English reference corpora. Over the past
years, corpus linguistics has experienced such a great expansion
and specialisation that a variety of languages, registers, text
types and speakers are now represented in language corpora. This
volume intends to give evidence of the extraordinary expansion that
corpus linguistics and language corpora have undergone. It focuses
on emerging types of corpora and corpus techniques, and also
presents corpus-based studies in areas which have benefited from
the recent developments in corpus linguistics methods and
techniques, including foreign language teaching, language
acquisition, translation and terminology dialectology, lexicography
and language variation. The volume comprises 11 papers on technical
aspects of corpus data processing, on corpus-based linguistic
research, and on emerging corpora. It is structured in three main
sections, one for each of the three latter aspects.
estudio -latin y griego clasicos, griego moderno, ingles, espanol,

Invasive arthropods cause significant damage in agricultural crops
and natural environments across the globe. Potentially threatened
regions need to be prepared to prevent new pests from becoming
established. Therefore, information on pest identity, host range,
geographical distribution, biology, tools for detection and
identification are all essential to researchers and regulatory
personnel. This book focuses on the most recent invasive pests of
agricultural crops in temperate subtropical and tropical areas and
on potential invaders, discussing their spread, biology and
control.
