One of television's most critically acclaimed programmes, The Wire addresses the seedy side of Baltimore’s finest, looking into money, drugs, politics and murder.

Told from the point of view of both the police and their targets, the series captures a universe of subterfuge and surveillance, where easy distinctions between good and evil, and crime and punishment, are challenged at every turn.

A study on urban life in one of America’s toughest cities, each season of The Wire has focused on a different aspect of Baltimore, starting with the police force and the drug trade, then moving on to City Hall, the education system and concluding with the media.

Lo-tech crime fighter 'The Crimson Bolt' takes to the streets to clean up the city in this dark comedy from director James Gunn. Mild-mannered Frank D'Arbo (Rainn Wilson) decides to enter the world of crime fighting superheroes when his wife, Sarah (Liv Tyler), leaves him for local drug dealer Jacques (Kevin Bacon). Believing his wife will come back to him if he can only defeat Jacques and the rest of the city's lowlife, Frank morphs into The Crimson Bolt, complete with handmade costume and trusty pipe-wrench. But just when Frank's entirely human exploits seem to be running out of steam, the unforeseen arrival of comic shop assistant Libby (Ellen Page), in the guise of sidekick 'Boltie', helps save the day.

Slasher horror sequel which sees Josh Stewart return to his role as Arkin from the preceding film 'The Collector' (2009). After an underground party leaves all but partially deaf Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick) dead, she stumbles upon a large trunk before she can make her way out. Inside the trunk is Arkin who warns Elena to run for her life, but before she can escape she has an accident resulting in a broken arm, leaving her incapacitated. Arkin does manage to escape and is hospitalised for his injuries, but shortly after his recovery he is approached by Elena's father (Christopher McDonald) and asked to return to The Collector's warehouse with a group of mercenaries in an attempt to rescue his daughter.
