Ambient Intelligence (AmI) is a recent paradigm emerging from
Artificial Intelligence, where computers are used as proactive
tools assisting people with their day-to-day activities, making
everyone's life more comfortable. Another main concern of AmI
originates from the human computer interaction domain and focuses
on offering ways to interact with systems in a more natural way by
means user friendly interfaces. This field is evolving quickly as
can be witnessed by the emerging natural language and gesture based
types of interaction. The inclusion of computational power and
communication technologies in everyday objects is growing and their
embedding into our environments should be as invisible as possible.
In order for AmI to be successful, human interaction with computing
power and embedded systems in the surroundings should be smooth and
happen without people actually noticing it. The only awareness
people should have arises from AmI: more safety, comfort and
wellbeing, emerging in a natural and inherent way. ISAmI is the
International Symposium on Ambient Intelligence and aiming to bring
together researchers from various disciplines that constitute the
scientific field of Ambient Intelligence to present and discuss the
latest results, new ideas, projects and lessons learned, namely in
terms of software and applications, and aims to bring together
researchers from various disciplines that are interested in all
aspects of this area.

This book constitutes selected papers of the Second International
Conference on Computer-Human Interaction Research and Applications,
CHIRA 2018, held in Seville, Spain, in September 2018, and Third
International Conference on Computer-Human Interaction Research and
Applications, CHIRA 2019, held in Vienna, Austria, in September
2019. The 7 full papers presented in this book were carefully
reviewed and selected from 28 submissions for CHIRA 2018 and 36
submissions for CHIRA 2019. The papers selected to be included in
this book contribute to the understanding of relevant trends of
current research on computer-human interaction, including
Interaction design, human factors, entertainment, cognition,
perception, user-friendly software and systems, pervasive
technologies and interactive devices.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the Blockchain and Robotic
Process Automation (RPA) Forum which was held as part of the 18th
International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2020.
The conference was planned to take place in Seville, Spain, in
September 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference took
place virtually. The Blockchain Forum and the RPA Forum have in
common that they are centered around an emerging and exciting
technology. The blockchain is a sophisticated distributed ledger
technology, while RPA software allows for mimicking human,
repetitive actions. Each of these have the potential to
fundamentally change how business processes are being orchestrated
and executed in practice. The BPM community has embraced these
technologies as objects of analysis, design, development, and
evaluation. The 14 full plus one short paper presented in this
volume were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 28
submissions.
