Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton star in this Academy Award-winning, epic retelling of the life and loves of the Egyptian queen. Desperate to hold onto her throne in the face of Roman expansion, Cleopatra (Taylor) employs all her charms in an attempt to secure an alliance with Julius Caesar (Rex Harrison). When Caesar is subsequently murdered, however, a vulnerable Cleopatra quickly turns her affections to popular Roman general Mark Antony (Burton). But although the relationship initially fares well, it's not long before the once proud general, now emasculated by the queen's charms, is reduced to a shadow of his former self that presages the doomed lovers' ultimate fate.

The Scottish hero Rob Roy (Liam Neeson) borrows money from the powerful Marquess of Montrose (John Hurt) in order to provide for his MacGregor clan. However, Montrose's evil henchman Cunningham (Tim Roth) has other ideas and is determined to stop Roy getting his way.

Third big-screen adaptation of John Buchan's classic novel. Mining engineer Richard Hannay (Robert Powell) is on a brief visit to England when his neighbour Colonel Scudder (John Mills) warns him that foreign 'sleeper' agents are at work, planning to pre-empt global war by murdering a foreign dignitary. When Scudder is murdered by the agents Hannay finds himself under suspicion by the police, and goes on the run in a bid to both prove his own innocence and expose the enemy spies.

Yul Brynner and Trevor Howard star in this action drama set in the 1920s in an India under British rule. After being imprisoned by the United Provinces Police, tribe leader Sultan (Brynner) manages to break out with some of his men in tow and leads them in a revolt in an effort to free themselves from the British regime. When he hears that the remaining prisoners are to be transferred to Delhi, he plans to help them escape but police officer Freddy Young (Howard) has been ordered to capture Sultan, dead or alive.

Hammer version of the popular TV series. When prehistoric skulls and the remains of an alien spaceship are discovered in the bowels of London's Underground during an excavation, a weird and powerful force is unleashed. Professor Quatermass (Andrew Keir) is called in to investigate.
