Ginger flies South of the Border for the first time with her
significant other, Lt. Detective David Hernandez, expecting a
glorious holiday. At the airport in Mexico City, however, David is
notified that his daughter is very sick and calling for him.
Reluctantly, he sends Ginger on to the hotel promising to join her
as soon as possible. Upon arrival, Ginger is surprised that their
reservation was unexpectedly upgraded to a Penthouse suite. Ginger
enjoys a luxurious evening concert at the invitation of famous
Latino singer, Alejandro Fernandez, but her languid respite is
rudely rushed when she is mistaken for a wealthy woman and abducted
for ransom. Realizing their mistake, the kidnappers sell her to a
band of rabid Neo-Aztec Restoration fanatics who attempt to
sacrifice her at midnight on top of the Pyramid of the Sun at
Teotihuacan. Drugged and dazed, Ginger comes perilously close to
her own demise under an ancient obsidian knife and who can save her
now?
Ginger immediately flies back to Mexico when she learns that the
love of her life is missing and believed abducted by the drug
cartel he was investigating. Lt. Detective David Hernandez was
undercover to pinpoint the powerful syndicate, El Arano, supplying
drugs to school children up and down the West Coast. His cover was
blown after his photo taken with Ginger was accidentally broadcast
all over Mexico during her own kidnapping weeks before. Determined
to find him, Ginger changes her appearance and with more passion
and faith than common sense throws herself into the search for her
love. But will she be too late?"
