What ever could a childhood pact with God and waterfowl ever have
in common? What if trust allowed one to be a witness to it? The
belief that words can form a spiritual bond after death sets the
tone for this narrative and for the preceding pages of poetry, all
with a single theme traveling from grief to hope gone asunder,
where the underlying theme is the possibility of encountering God
in the most unexpected encounters with people, and in the most
surprising of places.
FOR MY LOVE ENDURES FOREVER, Book 2 ABOUT THIS BOOK The
introduction to this book asks the question, "What word would
describe a life when love is taken away but not removed from the
heart?" Indeed, there exist many choices of words with which to
answer, probably as many choices as there are people in all walks
of life faced with that question at one time or another. At the
time of the death of my wife, I, a visual artist unable to express
an appropriate answer in the two dimensions I knew, one I could
remain living with, could only do what my heart dictated. For
better or worse, for richness of thought or paucity in meaning, I
arrived at a type of marriage between the known and the spiritual,
one speaking of both and of the love affair that paradoxically
never ended, which still exists in a spiritual context. Joseph

In Absolutely Maybe, Nick's second book, Nick makes serious and
insightful inquiries into how we view the dynamics in today's
modern relationships. Part tragedy, part comedy and part romance,
(with an added bonus in the back) his book speaks to the parts of
our heart and soul the thoughts the reader may often think about
but just can't put into words. Through his unusual and sometimes
enigmatic point of view, Nick offers us a fresh, restorative (and,
at times comical) perspective that demands that the reader
reconsider how they view the world and who they choose to live in
it with.
The Bible. You've heard of it, yes? Maybe something about David and
Goliath or Noah's ark, or a baby in a manger? What if I told you
there was tons of stuff in the Bible that you've never heard about?
Things like talking donkeys, self-conscious magicians, and kings
who think they're cows. The Bible is a curious book full of deeply
flawed people and a God who refuses to give up on them. Don't
believe me? Look for yourself. In these 60 devotions, we examine
these unique stories, the circumstances and biblical truth around
them, and what they reveal about the heart of God.
