These are the proceedings of the 9th International Workshop on Hybrid Systems: Computation and Control, HSCC 2006, March 2006. 39 revised papers are presented together with the abstracts of 3 invited talks. The focus is on modeling, analysis, and implementation of dynamic and reactive systems involving both discrete and continuous behaviors. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th International Joint Conference on Automated Reasoning, IJCAR 2016, held in Coimbra, Portugal, in June/July 2016. Luminescent Properties of bulk Zinc Sulphide has been widely studied by researchers in past because of its novel mechanical, thermal and optical properties, hence its extension in the nanoregime is desirable. Therefore this book therefore provides an insight of the Synthesis, Characterization and Changes in the Luminescent properties of nanocrystalline ZnS capped by various capping molecules in a cost effective and simple wet chemical techniques.
