This is the first book devoted to the use of social media and other
internet-derived data in forming forensic clinical opinions of
behavior. Designed for mental health practitioners, it outlines the
challenges and the benefits of incorporating digital information in
forensic assessments. It offers best practice guidelines geared to
both criminal and civil psycho-legal questions. Each chapter
includes a brief overview of the psycho-legal issues, clinical
applications of consulting internet-based data, ethical and legal
considerations and real life, de-identified case examples. This
book provides guidance to the clinician in an emerging
technological environment in which there are few resources, and
ensures a more scientific and legally sound practice.
This treatment program targets the criminal, behavioral, and mental
health problems of inmates in segregated housing that prevents them
from living prosocially and productively within the general prison
population. The program makes use of a bi-adaptive
psychoeducational and cognitive-behavioral treatment model to
increase inmates' understanding about the psychological and
criminal antecedents that contributed to their current placement,
and to teach them the skills necessary for managing these problem
areas. This flexible intervention assists inmates with significant
problem behaviors by reducing psychological impairment and
improving their ability to cope with prison life. This book
includes a program introduction and guide for clinicians, the
inmate workbook, and accompanying eResources to assist clinicians
in both successful program implementation and evaluation of
treatment outcomes. Designed to account for the safety and physical
limitations that make the delivery of needed mental and behavioral
health services difficult, this guide is essential reading for
practitioners working with high-needs, high-risk inmate
populations.

Although addressing greenhouse gases is a leading priority of the
President and many members of Congress, the ability to limit these
emissions already exists under Clean Air Act authorities that
Congress has enacted. In response to the Supreme Court decision,
EPA has begun the process of using this existing authority, issuing
an "endangerment finding" for greenhouse gases and proposing
greenhouse gas (GHG) regulations for new motor vehicles. This book
reviews the various options that the EPA could exercise to control
GHG emissions from stationary sources under the Act.
