Spatial development is a discipline aimed at the protection of
specific values and rational development by stimulating economic
processes. Modern practices challenge developers to minimize the
negative impact of urban development on the environment. In order
to adhere to this policy, bioeconomical solutions and investments
can be utilized. Bioeconomical Solutions and Investments in
Sustainable City Development is an essential source that explores
the development of sustainable city models based on investments in
eco-oriented solutions by protecting and making publicly available
green areas and by innovative investments with the use of
bioeconomical solutions. Featuring research on topics such as
bioeconomy vision, environmental education, and rural planning,
this book is ideally designed for architects, urban planners, city
authorities, experts, officers, business representatives,
economists, politicians, academicians, and researchers.
This text is intended to serve as an introduction to the study of
video game music. It was initially conceived as a companion to an
introductory video game music course that takes a multi-faceted
survey approach to the material. Therefore, this text can be used
in accompaniment with an academic setting. It can also be useful
for anyone that is generally interested in learning about video
game music, but does not have a very solid musical or technical
foundation. As it was intended to accompany a course in which
non-music majors could freely enrol, the text is accessible to
nearly everyone, and covers the topic of video game music very
generally.

The topic of the research was comparative study between PIA and
Emirates on service quality and customer satisfaction. The purpose
of the research was to investigate the relationship between two
variables. The sample size of the research was sixty (60). The tool
for data collection was a well designed questionnaire. Five point
Likert (1-5) scale was used to measure the responses. Simple random
sampling technique was used to collect data. Initially descriptive
statistics was used and frequency distribution for questions was
established. In the second phase, the effect of different
indicators of service quality on customer satisfaction was analyzed
through correlation. It was concluded that customer satisfaction is
positively related with the service quality. The present study
showed that the correlation values for Reliability, Assurance,
Responsiveness, Empathy, Tangible, Food and Entertainment of
Emirates were greater than PIA which indicated better service
quality of Emirates. The results revealed that the organization
must focus on all these indicators of service quality in order to
maximize the customer satisfaction.
The data about the incidence of rheumatoid arthritis of
approximately sixty patients was collected by interviewing them at
various hospitals in District Narowal. The data had been analysed
to determine the relative occurrence and incidence of rheumatoid
arthritis by different age groups. The analysis shows the
prevalence of rheumatoid arthritis was more in males (55%, n=33/60)
as compared to females (45%, n=27/60). Rheumatoid arthritis was
more prevalent in age group 41-50 years (32%, n=19/60) and less
prevalent in age group 61-70 years (3%, n=2/60). In our sample
population the prevalence of rheumatoid arthritis by age group
11-20 years was 10%, age group 21-30 years was 15%, age group 31-40
years was 28%, age group 41-50 years was 32%, age group 51-60 years
was 12% and by age group 61-70 years was 3%. Prevalence is known as
the number of all new cases and old cases of a disease during a
given time. The prevalence of rheumatic diseases in developing
countries is largely unknown. Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease of
modern civilization and attacking people in every part of the world
and people of every field are being affected.
The data about the prevalence of hypertension of approximately one
hundred patients was collected by interviewing them at Sughra
Shafih Medical Complex, Narowal. The data had been analysed to
determine the relative occurrence and incidence of hypertension by
different age groups. The analysis shows the prevalence of
hypertension was more in females (64%, n=64/100) as compared to
males (34%, n=34/100). Hypertension was more prevalent in age group
38-47 years (32%, n=32/100) and less prevalent in age group 68-77
years (6%, n=6/100). In our sample population the prevalence of
hypertension by age group 18-27 years was 13%, age group 28-37
years was 16%, age group 38-47 years was 32%, age group 48-57 years
was 18%, age group 58-67 years was 15% and by age group 68-77 years
was 6%. Known as "the silent killer," it may exist for prolonged
periods in the individual without symptoms and may manifest only
after causing serious irreversible pathology and complications.
The data about the major causes of hypertension of approximately
one hundred patients of hypertension was collected by interviewing
them at Sughra Shafih Medical Complex, Narowal. The data had been
analysed to determine the relative occurrence and incidence of
hypertension and effects of various causes. The analysis shows that
hypertensive patients were more prevalent (60%, n=60/100), and non
hypertensive patients were less prevalent (40%, n=40/100). The
prevalence of hypertension was more in females (64.00%) as compared
to males (34.00%). The major risk factors of hypertension were
diabetes, obesity and over weight, tension, smoking. Some females
were hypertensive during pregnancy. High cholesterol level also
contributes to hypertension. In our sample out of hypertensive
patients 42% were diabetic, 25% were obese, 10% were smokers, 16.6%
were hypertensive because to tension and 7% females were
hypertensive during pregnancy. Known as "the silent killer," it may
exist for prolonged periods in the individual without symptoms and
may manifest only after causing serious irreversible pathology and
complications.
Since last two decades, the excessive and broad spectral usage of
pesticides has achieved remarkable momentum in agriculture
dependant countries like Pakistan. Pesticides are undoubtedly
considered as a group of toxic chemicals that are introduced into
the environment; most of which include insecticides, herbicides,
fungicides, rodenticides and fumigants. These toxic compounds have
some residues which retain in environment and not only contaminate
it, but also develop resistance in target organisms against these
chemicals. Frequent and repeated application of insecticides
generally reduces the effectiveness and it results in the
development of resistance in target pest against these
insecticides. In general case, when whole population of targeted
pests is selected by killing the susceptible individuals, it
usually results in the emergence of resistant strains.
Present study deals with comparison of three essential oils (neem,
vetiver and mint) against the most common termite species of
Pakistan, Heterotermes indicola (Wasmann). Oils were tested for
repellency, toxicity and fumigation against H. indicola. Results
revealed that vetiver oil was most toxic killing 60% termites at 25
g/ l while neem and mint oils showed 54% and 56.66% mortality rate,
respectively, at the same concentration. When tested for
repellency, vetiver oil proved to be the most effective repellent
because of its long lasting activity. In a fumigation test, all
three oils were tested at concentration of 0.03125%, 0.0625%,
0.125%, 0.25% and 0.5%. Out of the three tested oils, vetiver oil
was the most effective. The components of neem, vetiver and mint
oil were identified by TLC technique. At the end of the study, it
was concluded that vetiver oil is a promising novel termiticide
against H. indicola.
Robin Ridington and Dennis Hastings ingeniously adopt the
conventions of Omaha oral narratives to tell the story and convey
the significance of the Sacred Pole. Portions of classic
anthropological texts (particularly Fletcher and La Flesche's "The
Omaha Tribe"), Omaha narratives, and other historical and
contemporary accounts are repeated--each time in a different, more
enlightening context--in a circle of stories seamlessly woven
around Umon'hon'ti. The result is an innovative account that
effortlessly glides between past and present. This unique blend of
Omaha poetics, ethnography, and ethnohistory is a significant
contribution to our understanding of the religious life of Native
Americans.
