The present textbook provides a clear introduction to phonetic reader. Assuming the low age and little or no prior knowledge, it introduces English learners to different spelling with the same pronunciation. This English for specific purpose (ESP) book has come about for a variety of reasons. The most obvious of this is that there was not a book for the students of midwifery. The book consists of some major parts. In the introduction the essence of midwifery is explained. The policy agenda and The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) are the two other subparts of the introduction. Since the book does not deal with high risk pregnancy, the author intended to focus on normal labour and caesarean section with its subparts separately in each section. As a result, five sections are included. In the first four sections normal labour and caesarean section were explained while the last section is about different issues and called miscellaneous. There are three main types of exercises namely comprehention questions, cloze test and translation. The book is based on extensive reading approach. There is also a very important specialized vocabulary for learners intending to pursue academic studies in English. The Academic Word List, compiled by Coxhead (2000), consists of 570 word families that are not in the most frequent 2,000 words of English but which occur reasonably frequently over a very wide range of academic texts.

At first glance these poems may seem to be modern romantic writings however, that is not the case, they illustrate the eternal human difficulty of celebrating 'being' very much in the way that Gerald Manley Hopkins in his way tried to do so in lines such as 'Glory be to God for dappled things...'. Azadeh writes about one thing - or several - in terms of other things in the way that poets have always attempted to over-come the limitations of language. Central, is the process of talking to oneself as in 'Me and I' even though some poems use the rhetorical device of apostrophe.
