New recruits. New technology. New threats. SHADO is nearly fully
operational, but the alien menace is intensifying at a greater rate
than the fledgling organisation can cope with. Under
ever-increasing pressures, Straker is repeatedly put to the test.
Facing unimaginable weaponry, warring factions, and
near-insurmountable personal strain - can the man leading the fight
to defend Earth survive? Contains three new stories; 2.1 Lost in
Action. An unexpected confrontation at 30,000 feet leads to a
civilian casualty. With no other options, Straker must recruit this
stubborn but brave pilot to join SHADO. Meanwhile, Straker’s team
orders the early activation of Moonbase - without his consent.
It’s just in time. Now, the nascent organisation is being put to
the ultimate test, and SHADO’s latest recruit will have put his
life on the line. 2.2 Assassination Time. In the wake of loss,
SHADO’s problems are brought into sharp focus by a series of
unexpected and inexplicable events. A new threat from the aliens
emerges - one that the organisation is illequipped to deal with.
With few options left, Straker must follow his instincts and put
SHADO’s survival in the hands of a traitor. 2.3 Breaking Point.
SHADO faces a severe security breach, swiftly followed by the most
intense and highlycoordinated alien threat it has ever seen.
Straker now faces unimaginable pressures from every angle. The
strain on him, and his organisation, reach impossible levels.
Mistakes will be made. Lives will be lost. Could this be the end?

Step aboard the Kairos, a recreational cruiser which traverses the
Time Vortex itself. Vienna Salvatori is on a mission, and must make
her way up the serpentine vehicle, from the crime-ridden rear
segments, through the enclosed compartments of the mega-rich, all
the way to the front of the ship to face the man who controls it
all... the Master! 2.1 Nemesis Express by Robert Whitelock. Vienna
Salvatori boards the Kairos in search of a stolen gem, and young
thief Passion is hiding out and feels like the ship itself is
watching her. Both women are about to be thrown together - and it's
no accident. For the ship's Vortex drive has brought the Master
back from oblivion, and he has plans for them both. 2.2 Capture the
Chronovore! By Lizbeth Myles. Vienna and Passion pursue the Master,
but to find out what he's up to they must find a way through the
ship's classier compartments. With their weapons confiscated and
champagne on ice, they're invited to join an exclusive shooting
party, hunting the Vortex's great game - Chronovores! - and the
Master is most definitely dressed for the occasion. 2.3 Passion by

Passion find themselves exactly where the Master wants them. The
Time Lord has more than revenge on his mind, however, and if they
can't stop him, nothing in the universe will. CAST: Eric Roberts

royalty, killer robots and her own, occupied tomb, before being
reunited in the digital afterlife with Proper Dave. 10.1 The Two
Rivers by Tim Foley. River Song finds herself on an irresistible
mission - investigating the tomb of the legendary River Song!
Except the statues don't resemble her and the tomb contains the
body of someone very different... or does it? 10.2 Beauty on the
Inside by Lizzie Hopley. It would seem to be a perfectly ordinary
painting of a forgettable royal family - so why did a biochemist
smuggle it out of a closed colony at the cost of her own life?
River is determined to find out. 10.3 Black Friday by Lauren Mooney
and Stewart Pringle. Omnia Forum might just be the greatest shop in
the galaxy and it's celebrating two hundred years at the heart of
the retail sector. But when River attends the celebratory gala she
finds it less 'everything must go' and more 'everything has
gone'... apart from the Autons. 10.4 Firewall by Barnaby Kay. River
is living her dream life with her dream husband. But every paradise
has a serpent and this husband might not quite be up to the task.
