The extended edition (over 40 extra minutes) of the second film in Peter Jackson's epic big screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. The Fellowship of the Ring has now divided and Sam and Frodo are lost in the hills of Emyn Muil. They are also being followed by Gollum, a creature who promises to help them find the Mountain of Doom. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli search for the hobbits Merry and Pippin in the Kingdom of Rohan, which is currently being attacked by Saruman's orc armies. Gandalf returns as Gandalf the White to remind Aragorn of his destiny to unite the people of Rohan with Gondor. Whilst the Fellowship are not travelling together they must unite against the powerful forces coming from the Two Towers: Orthanc Tower in Isengard where Saruman has bred a deadly army of 10,000, and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dûr.

Special effects-laden fantasy action film starring Dong-gun Jang, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush and Danny Huston. Skilled swordsman and assassin Yang (Jang) goes undercover in in the American badlands after failing in his last assignment. There he makes the acquaintance of a band of carnival workers, including feisty knife thrower Lynne (Bosworth), and town drunk Ron (Rush), both of whom harbour powerful secrets. When Lynne is threatened by a gang led by The Colonel (Danny Huston), Yang must blow his cover and face up to his past as he draws on his expert warrior skills to protect her.

Warren Beatty's adaptation of the detective comic strip displays a big-screen comic book look of its own. In a 1930s American city, Big Boy Caprice (Al Pacino) takes a stranglehold on all underworld activities, disposing of his main rival Lips Manlis (Paul Sorvino) and nabbing his girlfriend Breathless Mahoney (Madonna). Dick Tracy (Beatty) is entrusted with the task of cleaning up the city, but problems on the home front, with the adoption of a young orphan, and the seductive come-ons of Breathless threaten to ruffle his composure.
