Family drama which tells the story of 12-year-old Jesse (Jason James Richter), a street kid living with foster parents, who befriends Willy, an unhappy killer whale imprisoned in a seedy adventure park. Jesse resolves to return Willy to the sea.
In 1984, Soviet submarine captain Marko Ramius (Sean Connery) decides to break away from the military exercises in which he has been ordered to take part and sets a course straight for the American coastline. The Americans believe he is mounting a renegade attack, the Russians believe he is trying to defect, and both nations send their Navies out in pursuit. The one man who seems to have a clear grasp on the situation is C.I.A. analyst Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin), but can he make the super-powers see sense before they risk everything in a potential catastrophic naval encounter?
In the future, mankind has been invaded by a lethal alien bug race, thirty feet tall and possessing the ability to fly. Freedom fighter Johnny Rico sets about training up an elite military unit in order to combat the alien invaders, while his girlfriend, Carmen, becomes a fighter pilot. However, in the heat of battle, Johnny is unaware that Carmen is being seduced by her dashing flight instructor.
A double bill of films featuring ex-navy SEAL-turned-cook Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal). In 'Under Siege', Ryback has to prevent two military fanatics (Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey) from hijacking a ship and stealing its store of nuclear weapons. 'Under Siege 2' sees Ryback attempting to prevent a team of terrorists on a hijacked passenger train from using a weapons satellite to destroy Washington D.C..
Melanie Griffith stars in this cult sci-fi feature. In 2017, in post-apocalyptic America, wealthy businessman Sam Treadwell (David Andrews) hires renegade tracker Edith E. Johnson (Griffith) to help him find an exact duplicate of his short-circuited android wife Cherry 2000. But on their way to the dangerous Zone 7 the pair have to get past its overseer Lester (Tim Thomerson) and his gang of thugs.
A triple bill of sci-fi cops. The first film, 'Robocop', is set in the near future and Detroit's soaring crime rate is unsuccessfully policed by a corporation which plans to build a new city, if its workers can go about unmolested. When its new 'enforcement droid' proves unworkable, a murdered cop (Peter Weller) is wired into a computer-controlled titanium body and set to the task at hand. Unimpressed, 'Robocop' seeks vengeance on all sides in this violent but often funny tale. In the second film, 'Robocop 2', a new model, Robocop 2 (Tom Noonan), is built while Robocop 1 still patrols the streets of Detroit. Robocop 2 is given a maniac's 'soul', thereby setting the stage for a showdown between the two computer constables. Finally, in 'Robocop 3' Robocop is befriended by a young girl whose parents have been killed, and after his partner is killed by the head of a private security firm, he joins a group of rebels to fight back against the evil businessmen. There is a notable fight sequence between a plastic-like robot Ninja and the sluggish metal Robocop, which, together with the rebels hiding out in the derelict General Motors Factory, constitutes a thinly veiled critique of the Japanese car industry from the heart of Detroit - the original motor city.
Mythical hero Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) vows to take revenge after the murder of his parents and destruction of his village. Determined to learn the 'riddle of steel', he sets off with his companions, Subotai the Mongol (Gerry Lopez) and Queen of Thieves (Sandahl Bergman), to kill Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones), the leader of an evil snake cult. John Milius, who co-wrote the script with Oliver Stone, directs.
Collection of five action features starring Steven Seagal. In 'Under Siege' (1992) a battleship is captured by a disgruntled CIA man and his small private army, who pose as a rock band. The only one who can save the vessel, which has nuclear capability, is Casey Ryback (Seagal), the ship's cook and former Navy SEAL. In 'Under Siege 2 - Dark Territory' (1995) a passenger train has been hijacked by electronics expert Travis Dane (Eric Bogosian) and turned into an untracable command centre for a weapons satellite. He plans to blow up Washington DC - for one billion dollars - and it falls to Ryback to stop him. In 'Hard to Kill' (1990) Los Angeles police officer Mason Storm (Seagal) wakes from a lengthy coma and swears revenge on the crooked cops, vicious hoodlums and the corrupt senator who murdered his wife and child and put him to sleep for seven years. In 'Nico - Above the Law' (1988) martial arts detective Nico Toscani (Seagal) discovers that a group of drug barons are about to bring chaos to the streets of Chicago. With the help of his partner (Pam Grier) he soon discovers that the drugs cartel is run by Zagon (Henry Silva), a CIA official whom Nico had worked with during the Vietnam War. In 'Executive Decision' (1996) Pentagon defence analyst Dr. David Grant (Kurt Russell) has to rescue 400 hostages from a hijacked 747 aircraft which is stacked full of dangerous chemical weapons and heading straight for Washington DC. Since the terrorists real objective is the destruction of the US capital, Grant realises that attempts at negotiation will be fruitless and consequently resolves to board the 747 himself. But the mission, led by Special Operations expert Austin Travis (Seagal), looks doomed from the start when the experimental aircraft they are using to board the plane goes wildly out of control during the docking procedure.
In this follow-up to 'Conan the Barbarian', Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) joins the virgin princess Jehnna (Olivia d'Abo) on a search to find a magical crystal. Accompanied by Zula (Grace Jones) and Akiro (Mako), the expedition begins its daring adventure, unaware that the greatest danger lies with its own sponsor, the treacherous Queen Tamaris (Sarah Douglas).
War drama in which a US deserter is taken in by a Borneo jungle tribe only to find that the tribe are threatened by his country's enemies as well. Learoyd (Nick Nolte) is sent to fight the Japanese in tough jungle conditions and deserts, only to end up in a POW camp anyway. Narrowly escaping death at the hands of a firing squad, he flees into the Borneo jungle where he is taken in by a tribe of natives called the Dayaks. The Dayaks grow to worship Learoyd due to certain physical characteristics they perceive as holy, and he is anointed king. When a British officer (Nigel Havers) seeks out this 'King' for help in defeating the Japanese, Learoyd remains reluctant to fight. However, as the relationship between the men grows stronger and the Japanese begin to threaten the Dayaks, Learoyd's warlike qualities come to the fore...
