Beowulf Boritt, theater designer and Tony Award winner, begins with the moment he was offered each job and takes readers through the conceptual development of the set, in collaboration with the director, the challenges of its physical creation, and the intense process of readying it for the stage. Since theater is at heart a collaborative art form, he includes details of his work with the many professionals-designers, technicians, producers, stage managers, and actors-who contribute their talent and ideas to each show. Boritt offers insight into the sometimes frustrating but unavoidable realities of the "biz" part of showbiz: budgets, promotion, reviews, and awards, and he provides enough detail to interest aspiring and seasoned theater professionals and enough spice to satisfy passionate theatergoers. Boritt includes extensive conversations with the directors of the productions, theater legends such as James Lapine, Kenny Leon, Hal Prince, Susan Stroman, Jerry Zaks, and Stephen Sondheim. Each takes a very different approach to theater, which necessitates a different approach to collaboration. Das Buch "Tue Deine Pflicht" beschreibt die Ursachen fr Justizwillkr, Korruption und wirtschaftlichen Niedergang in Form von einer fehlenden Staatshaftung. Es zeigt auf, wie Beamte sich deshalb gegenseitig decken, um Schadensersatzklagen abzuwehren. Obwohl die Beamten durch ihren Eid verpflichtet sind, Straftaten anzuzeigen, bleiben sie unttig, wenn z.B. im Gericht Protokolle geflscht werden. In den Jahren 2006 und 2007 fanden unbemerkt von der ffentlichkeit einschneidende Gesetzesaufhebungen statt, die die Strafverfolgung nicht mehr ermglichen, aber gleichzeitig keine Verjhrung dieser Taten erfolgen wird. Seit dem sind smtliche Gesetze der Gerichtsbarkeit aufgehoben, auer Schiedsgerichte bei Arbeitsstreitigkeiten. Dazu kommt, dass die Menschenrechte in der BRD nicht beachtet werden und Urteile des Europischen Gerichtshofs nicht umgesetzt werden bzw. gezielt Verhandlungen vor dem EGMR blockiert werden. Das alles zeigt: Die BRD ist alles andere als ein souverner Staat, auch wenn es uns die Politiker und die Medien weismachen wollen. Im Gegenteil: Es gilt nach wie vor das Besatzungsrecht, wegen des fehlenden Friedensvertrags und der fehlenden Verfassung, die uns beide bis heute vorenthalten werden. Die Bewhrung, die die Alliierten uns durch das Potsdamer Abkommen nach dem Krieg auferlegten, ist scheinbar vorbei. Die Verpflichtung, einen Staat mit demokratischen und rechtsstaatlichen Verhltnissen aufzubauen, um das Besatzungskonstrukt BRD abzulsen, ist bis heute nicht erfllt worden. Deshalb haben die Alliierten alle Gesetze, die die Strafverfolgung ermglichten, aufgehoben. Es drohen Enteignung, noch mehr Willkr und bei Fortschreiten dieser Situation knnten durchaus noch mehr Arbeitslosigkeit, Aufstnde, Brgerkrieg und sogar die Auflsung Deutschlands drohen.
