Springtime for Rain is full of more than flowers. As Rain learns
more about the Angelic facets of her nature she is shown a world
she never knew existed, having to face all that comes with it while
attempting to restore a part of Drahomir's past to him. Traveling
to Prague she couldn't have imagined what was in store for her as
she delves into past memories; will this gesture of kindness cost
her what she only thought she was willing to pay? In the midst of
past pain and future uncertainties Rain finds herself drawn into a
fellow Angel's hunt for a killer who preys on souls, finding
herself to be the key to the mystery of his weakness, and the only
hope to ending his evil.
Like most humans Rain had always thought the land of Faerie to be
part of a bedtime story, a land where fair maidens had wings and
handsome young men with pointed ears and magical powers slew
dragons. A place so saturated with magic as to exist in another
realm altogether, ruled by a kind and benevolent Queen. Reality and
fantasy are rarely the same. Rain joins in the search for Aurelia,
Cyprian's sister, finding herself pulled into this strange land by
the spirit of Faerie itself. With the aid of Cyprian's childhood
friend Kheelan she must make sense of clues, both found and given,
in order to find Aurelia and learn what she was protecting. The
heart of Faerie is at risk, and Rain alone has the keys to keep it
beating, a fact that threatens her life on more than one occasion.
Cyprian's arrival in Faerie 600 years after his banishment pulls
the past into the light; casting it in stark relief as startling
revelations alter his world and he must confront the witch who
cursed him.
At the end of a perfectly mundane day Rain Hart's life was forever
altered. Finding herself suddenly thrust into the center of a
supernatural world filled with creatures she never dreamed existed,
she quickly learns what she is and that the cost of her happiness
can be high, but is it more than she's willing to pay? The
unexpected renown she attains through nothing more than being real
gains her invaluable friends and dangerous enemies. Raised an
orphan in a human world she never thought she'd learn who her
parents were; the truth of her lineage just might kill her.
Drahomir thought he'd never see her again, that she was still
trapped in Hell with the Demon Prince who was her father. When Rain
fell back into his life he began questioning the traditions and
laws that for centuries had governed the wereleopard Kolektiv he
now ruled; the laws that were keeping Rain from being accepted as
his Mate. As the new Kral, Drahomir has to defend his changes
within the Kolectiv, protect Rain from those who wished her dead
and he must embrace the changes within their evolving relationship.
To remain stagnant was to risk losing everything he loved.
