Kim Cattrall stars as a faded porn star, down on her luck, in this independent comedy from first-time writer/director Keith Bearden. Seizing the chance to sell his unique hot dog wagon to a potential buyer, while at the same time catching the club act of his favourite 1980s porn star Monica Velour (Cattrall), 17-year-old geek Tobe Hulbert (Dustin Ingram) sets off for Indiana. On arrival, Tobe finds an ageing Monica performing in a run-down strip joint, where, after defending her from ungracious patrons, he gets beaten up. Taken in by a grateful Monica, Tobe is sure that he's met his ideal woman and can finally set about turning his dreams into reality. But although she feels affection towards the teenager, Monica realises that her first priority needs to be getting her life back on track, and in particular, winning a custody battle for her daughter.

In 'Cocoon 2', the group, who were taken to a better life by the aliens in the original film, return to Earth for a visit. Follow-on from the 1986 film 'FX - Murder by Illusion' in which Tyler (Bryan Brown) is now semi-retired. However, he is talked out of the quiet life after five years and into taking part in a police-sting operation by his girlfriend's ex-husband. When the latter is murdered, Tyler investigates, with the help of his old police partner (Brian Dennehy) and soon they are trapped in a dangerous web of murder, treachery and deceit.

There he becomes convinced his pregnant wife, Louisa (Chloe Webb), is having an affair with one of his rivals and when he develops stomach cramps he suspects she is trying to poison him.

Due to incriminating evidence and prime motivation, Kimble is wrongly convicted for murder. However, on his way to death row he is involved in a spectacular train crash that precipitates his escape. Kimble then strives to prove his innocence whilst staying one step ahead of the dogged US Marshal Sam Gerard.

Firewall (2006)
