#1 New York Times bestselling author and Oscar-winning producer
Brian Grazer has written a brilliantly entertaining and eye-opening
exploration of curiosity and the life-changing effects it can have
on every person's life. From Academy Award-winning producer Brian
Grazer, New York Times bestseller A Curious Mind offers a brilliant
peek into the "curiosity conversations" that inspired him to create
some of the world's most iconic movies and television shows. He
shows how curiosity has been the "secret" that fueled his rise as
one of Hollywood's leading producers and creative visionaries, and
how all of us can channel its power to lead bigger and more
rewarding lives. Grazer has spent most of his life exploring
curiosity through what he terms "curiosity conversations" with some
of the most interesting people in the world, including spies,
royals, scientists, politicians, moguls, Nobel laureates,
artists...anyone whose story might broaden his worldview. These
discussions sparked the creative inspiration behind many of his
movies and TV shows, including Splash, 24, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo
13, Arrested Development, 8 Mile, J. Edgar, Empire, and many
others. A Curious Mind is not only a fascinating page-turner-it
also offers a blueprint for how we can awaken our own curiosity and
use it as a superpower in our lives. Whether you're looking to
strengthen your management style at work, uncover a new source of
creativity, or become a better romantic partner, this book-and its
lessons on the power of curiosity-can change your life.
Double bill of American comedies starring Eddie Murphy as the
titular Professor Sherman Klump (as well as Ernie Klump, Granny
Klump, and Mama and Papa Klump). In 'The Nutty Professor' (1996),
Sherman Klump, a shy, overweight chemistry professor invents a
slimming formula which transforms him into the svelte, fast-talking
Buddy Love (also Murphy). His new-found confidence means he can now
happily date his pretty colleague Carla Purty (Jada Pinkett Smith),
but when Buddy starts to take over, Sherman risks jeopardising his
own career and his true self being lost forever. In the sequel 'The
Nutty Professor 2' (2000) Sherman Klump, having decided to get
married, asks for the hand of fellow scientist Denise Gaines (Janet
Jackson) and is overjoyed when she accepts. But when Klump's
fast-talking alter ego Buddy Love comes back on the scene, the
ensuing havoc threatens to ruin all the professor's plans.
The Grinch (Jim Carrey) is a grouchy green monster who lives high
up on a mountain overlooking the town of Whoville. The Grinch hates
happiness, hates merriment, and most of all, hates Christmas. So
one year, as the festive season approaches, he decides that enough
is enough and draws up plans to steal all the decorations and all
the presents from the poor, unsuspecting citizens below. Does this
mean the Whos won't be celebrating this year? Not if little Cindy
Lou has anything to do with it.

Based on Peter Morgan's stage play, Ron Howard directs this
dramatised account of the 1977 TV interviews between scandalised
former President Richard Nixon and British talk-show host David
Frost. Three years after the Watergate scandal that led to his
demise, former president Richard Nixon (Frank Langella) sat down
with Frost (Michael Sheen) to discuss, for the first and only time,
the details of his term in the White House and his spectacular fall
from grace. With the famously steely Nixon confident that he could
come out tops in the encounter, and Frost's side questioning
whether this was a step too far, media commentators prepared
themselves for a PR exercise. But when the interviews got underway,
observers were astonished when both men abandoned their usual
stances, and chose to conduct an open, honest and frank exchange of
views, covering all the areas of concern that had previously
remained off-limits. In addition to covering the interviews
themselves, the film also traces the difficulties that had to be
overcome, and egos that had to massaged, before the historic events
could finally take place.

him surreptitiously, while actors approach him and say their lines.
Bowfinger also stumbles upon Kit's movie buff brother Jeff (Murphy
again), whom he convinces to impersonate his befuddled brother.
Frank Oz directs from Steve Martin's original script.
