This book, the second in the Children's College Foundation Series, is intended to develop positive self-esteem in an international multilingual environment. This English/French/Swahili educational book is intended to empower children for future success through character development. The core concepts of the book are based on the template provided by Dr. William J. Briggs and adapted by Children's College to meet the needs of its community to think about ways to teach those central ideas critical to personal development and success throughout life: honesty, respect, patriotism, courage, kindness, responsibility, feelings, and self-worth. We hope that you will find this book a helpful guide to teaching your children about how to be better people through contributing to helping humanity and compassion for all.
A Swahili-English storybook developed by the children of Children's College in Slidell, LA. It tells the story of a child asking his/her teacher what's on the savannah and the teacher responding by identifying African wildlife. The story was illustrated by the children and it produced by the Children's College Foundation to help provide early childhood education scholarships for economically disadvantaged families in the city.
