Burgess Meredith stars as Felix Milne, a psychiatrist whose latest patient is Adam Lucian (Kieron Moore), a fighter pilot who has recently returned from combat deeply traumatised from his experiences in a Japanese POW camp. As Milne gets to know Lucien and learns more about his ordeal, he begins to wonder if he is out of his depth with this particular case...
