A different kind of war War between the Alliance and its enemies continues to wage. As the Unified Star Alliance moves closer to the imminent attempt to free the captured planet of Molar other obstacles present themselves. As for warrior Lieutenant Commander Chadd Hennings, it's the war within himself that proves to be a tougher battle. As a new love, and a ghost from the past enter his world, the tension mounts. If that weren't enough, the commander and a special passenger find themselves in a place they never expected to be.

The possibility of war approaches and the Unified Star Alliance's goal to protect and preserve peace throughout the galaxy has been threatened by the enemy forces of the Kotan Coalition. As the two forces, among others, battle for galactic supremacy, independent worlds and star systems find themselves in the path of the fighting. One such world is the planet Molar, whose only wish is to remain isolated and unchanged by off-world influences. In the midst of chaos, Alliance fighter pilot Lt. Cmdr. Chadd Hennings puts his life and career on the line, day after day, in hopes of doing his part to ensure peace; but along the way he runs into unforeseen obstacles that may hinder his progress.
