Estranged brothers are reunited over plans to develop the tower
block where they grew up, but the desolate estate becomes a stage
for reliving the events of one life-changing summer, forty years
earlier ... the exquisitely written, moving new novel from West
Camel. 'Unfolds like a spell' Carol Lovekin, author of Ghostbird 'A
deceptively complex and layered story; beautiful, traumatic and
ultimately uplifting' Louise Beech, author of This Is How We Are
Human 'A mesmerising portrait of toxic family relationships: one
that perfectly captures a turbulent era in a changing Britain. I
was gripped' Caroline Wyatt _____________________________ Twins
Aaron and Clive have been estranged for forty years. Aaron still
lives in the empty, crumbling tower block on the riverside in
Deptford where they grew up. Clive is a successful property
developer, determined to turn the tower into luxury flats. But
Aaron is blocking the plan and their petty squabble becomes
something much greater when two ghosts from the past - twins
Annette and Christine - appear in the tower. At once, the desolate
estate becomes a stage on which the events of one scorching summer
are relived - a summer that shattered their lives, and changed
everything forever... Grim, evocative and exquisitely rendered,
Fall is a story of friendship and family - of perception, fear and
prejudice, the events that punctuate our journeys into adulthood,
and the indelible scars they leave - a triumph of a novel that will
affect you long after the final page has been turned. Illustrations
by David F. Ross ----------------------------- **Shortlisted for
the POLARI Prize** 'Fall's characters will haunt me, its story will
stay with me and I will return again and again' Katie Allen

your heart and mind' Anne Coates 'Architecture and morality: the
only subjects worth writing about, and West Camel does so
exquisitely through the eyes of people profoundly affected by both'

conflicting ... the author's enticing storytelling has totally,
utterly hooked me' Sarah Sansom 'A page-turner and a literary
delight, a book you devour' Liz Loves Books 'Immersive, beautiful,
and haunting ... I adored it' Live & Deadly 'A novel of mystic
style and sensibility. West Camel tackles timeless themes of truth,
power, family and justice ... an extraordinary read' Richard

When Sam falls in love with Deptford thug Derek, and Anne's best
friend Kathleen takes her own life, they discover they are linked
not just by a world of drugs and revenge; they also share the
friendship of the uncanny and enigmatic Deborah. Seamstress,
sailor, story-teller and self-proclaimed centenarian immortal,
Deborah slowly reveals to Anne and Sam her improbable, fantastical
life, a history of hidden Deptford and ultimately the solution to
their crises. With echoes of Armistead Maupin, Attend is a
beautifully written, darkly funny, mesmerisingly emotive and
deliciously told debut novel, rich in finely wrought characters
that you will never forget. `A literary EastEnders, with precision
language and beautifully interwoven storytelling ... I couldn't put
it down' Liz Loves Books
Camel's classic 5th album from 1977 has been digitally remastered
and expanded with the single version of "Highways To The Sun" and
six songs recorded live for the BBC In Concert show. The enhanced
packaging contains rare and previously unseen photographs and
sleevenotes by Mark Powell.
Moonmadness is an album released in March 1976 by Camel. It is the
final album that featured the classic line-up (Latimer, Bardens,
Ferguson, Ward) from the band. After the release of The Snow Goose
in 1975, the band decided to move back into a more accessible
direction by adding vocals to their music again. The album still
has an overall theme, just as their previous one did, but doesn't
follow a storyline since it's mostly based on the band members
themselves.
UK reissue of 1973 album, remastered from the original tapes &
includes 2 bonus tracks 'Never Let Go' (single version-previously
unreleased on CD) & 'Homage To The God of Light' (recorded live
at Marquee Club-29th October 1974). 2002.
1978 album for British progressive rock act.

Mirage is Camel's second album, released in 1974. Their self-titled
debut Camel came before this one in 1973, and The Snow Goose came
after it in 1975. Mirage is one of the group's most remembered
albums. It features their most well known song, Lady Fantasy, and
is also a showplace for Andrew Latimer's flute, notably on
"Supertwister". There are only 5 tracks on this record, two over 9
minutes. Those two are multi-part epics: Lady Fantasy and
Nimrodel/The Procession/The White Rider, the latter being about The
Lord of the Rings. It was released on Deram Records.
For ages the world has been savaged by the different magics that
lay claim to Aura. Legend foretells of a Chosen One who can control
them all and bind them together. Though few have emerged through
the ages and none have been successful, a young girl of the central
clans begins her own legend in seeking the key to all magic.
