Glen Falloch lies far from our River Dee ; two miles south of Crianlarich in Highland Perthsire. I have included these trees in my book, because they have always fascinated me; and will always be for me the typical umbrella Scots Fir. This small colony of Pine has no natural regeneration, and, ususually, grows in grasslands, rather than the heather muir. It is considered to constitute the southern limit of native Scots Pine in Scotland.
