Wiener Singverein, the European Union Youth Orchestra Alumni and the Tonkunstler Orchestra come together with conductor Yutaka Sado for this special performance at the tenth year of the Grafenegg Festival in 2016. Included in the programme are Beethoven's 'Symphony No. 9' and 'Overture' and 'Fanfare' from Jost's 'An Die Hoffnung'.

Kent Nagano leads the Bayerisches Staatsorchester in Dmitri Tcherniakov's production of Mussorgsky's opera, recorded live at the Nationaltheater, Munich in 2007. Doris Soffel stars as Marfa, with Anatoly Kotscherga as the religious leader Dosifei, Klaus Florian Vogt as Andrey, and Paata Burchuladze as the charismatic Prince Ivan Khovansky.

Composer Rued Langgaard's opera on the moral decay of modern society features the Royal Danish Opera and the Danish National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Thomas Dausgaard. Performers include Sten Byrel, Anne Margrethe Dahl, John Lundgren and Camilla Nylund.

Christian Thielemann conducts the Staatskapelle Dresden in this concert featuring works by Strauss. Music from 'Der Rosenkavalier', 'Elektra' and 'Salome' are included with performances from sopranos Christine Goerke, Anja Harteros and Camilla Nylund.
