to raise a child." These stories are offerings from two Christian
leaders who live in the village. They seek to make complex
principles of faith and Christian living easier to comprend. The

the knowledge and faith of our Lord Jesus Christ." Rita and Sid are
siblings who write from their life experience and deep faith.
Having reared children of their own, they understand the importance
of planting seeds of faith in children. It is hoped that parents
and teachers will find great joy in sharing the stories written in

with the opporturnity to nurture in their faith.

Jasper and Jesus at the Well is a story about a little boy named
Eli and his donkey, Thaddeous. Eli was a cruel, angry little boy
who was mean to other people and his donkey. Jesus showed him how
to love people and Thaddeous by caring about how they feel. The
lesson in this book is, to learn to love others as we do ourselves.
We cannot call ourselves Christians if we hate others, for love is
born of God, and love is of God. Miracles will certainly come to us
if we have love for our fellowman and all of God's creation. Love
is a miracle
After falling into a hole in the ground, Andy the Ant discovers
some abandoned eggs that change his life forever. His decision to
protect the eggs leads Andy on an exciting journey. Along the way,
he makes several friends and learns about God's creatures of the
sea. He discovers tide pools for the first time and learns the
ocean can be a dangerous place for a small ant. But Andy finds the
courage to continue his journey with some help from his friends.
The protected eggs finally hatch. At last, you will discover the
identity of the special cargo Andy has been carrying in his
backpack. Andy learns a profound lesson: Just as he had been
determined to protect his precious eggs, God, with even more
determination, protects us and provides for our needs.
