Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, and other terrorist groups have kept Jim Starr
busy for many years and funded his work. Since 1965, he has tracked
down and killed anyone working on alternative energy and fuel
research. First it was Sam Edwards, then John Gibson, Jack Atwell,
and Nancy Johnson.
Fast-forward to 2008. Chuck Springer is tired of high gas prices
and pollution. He worries what the world will do when fossil fuels
are gone. Using lottery winnings, he and seven others combine their
expertise to create a hydrogen-powered hybrid with an ultimate fuel
recovery system. After winning a Los Angeles to Washington D.C.
Alternative Fuels Car race, their invention garners unprecedented
media attention-and falls smack onto Jim Starr's radar.
Knowing they, too, are now targets for terrorists doesn't stop
Chuck and his team from intensifying their efforts. They pen deals
with the major car manufacturers, form International Applied
Hydrogen, and bring more engineers and projects into the company.
As they begin to design and build hydrogen construction projects
around the world, the team knows hydrogen energy is within their
reach and will change the world. But in order to succeed, they must
stay one step ahead of Jim Starr.
