Die phanomenologische Bedeutungslehre hat ihre erste und bislang uberzeugend ste systematische Ausarbeitung in Edmund Husserls 'Logischen Untersuchungen' (1900/01) erfahren. Wie der Titel des Werkes es anzeigt, interessiert sich Husserl flir die Bedeutungen sprachlicher Zeichen vor allem aus der Perspektive eines (philosophischen) Logikers. Die vorliegende Arbeit handelt vom systematischen und historischen Ursprung der phanomenologischen Bedeutungslehre, insofern sie flir die Philosophie der "reinen Logik" Husserlscher Pragung relevant ist. In den 'Logischen Untersuchungen' bettet Husserl die Lehre von den Bedeutungen sprachlicher Zeichen (insoweit diese fur die reine Logik in Betracht kommen) in eine allgemeine Theorie der logischen Erlebnisse ein. Er vertritt also offenbar die These, daB sprachliche Bedeutung prinzipiell etwas mit dem Phanomenbereich 'BewuBtsein' zu tun hat. 1ch werde im ersten Kapitel meiner Abhandlung erortern, was es mit Husserls Phanomenologie der logischen Erlebnisse auf sich hat; gleich zeitig werde ich nachzuweisen versuchen, daB die Beschaftigung mit der Entstehung und den konzeptuellen Grundlagen dieser philosophischen Disziplin gerade heute - in einer Zeit, in der vieles auf eine Synthese der beiden einstmals als unvereinbar geltenden Hauptstromungen der Philosophie unseres ausgehenden lahrhunderts hindeutet - von besonderer Wiehtigkeit ist."

In commemoration of Husserl's many years of teaching and research in Goettingen, the Goettingen Academy of Science staged an international symposium in Husserl's jubilee year 2009. The results are presented in this edited volume. The contributions are arranged into three thematic groups: (1) Husserl's philosophy of subjectivity, (2) Husserl's theory of the intentional object and his definition of the relationship between truth and evidence, (3) Husserl's philosophy of mathematics and logic.

This book contains a detailed study of the historical and systematical origin of Edmund Husserl's views on meaning as manifested in his most influential Logical Investigations (1900-01) and Ideas (1913), relating them both to Bernard Bolzano's theory of the relationship between logical experiences and their objective contents (from his 1837 Theory of Science) and to Hermann Lotze's theory of ideas (from his 1874 Logic). The author clarifies the basic concepts of Husserl's theory of meaning and shows that it is Platonic (rather than Aristotelian) in spirit. Furthermore, he defends an 'identificationalistic' interpretation of Husserl's central notion of 'noematic X' and outlines a Husserlian contribution to the 'externalism/internalism' debate in recent analytic philosophy. The former Queen of Science seems to be lacking both a specific subject and a particular method. Thus the need arises for intra- and metaphilosophical orientation - especially since the way philosophy sees itself stems from various influential schools and traditions whose mutual exchange is not as lively as one might have hoped. This volume of original essays brings together some of the protagonists of different metaphilosophical debates that have so far been led fairly independently of each other. Ihre Veranstaltung stellt eine gewaltige Aufgabe hinsichtlich auf Organisation und Infrastruktur fur das gastgebende Land dar. Seit dem 15. Mai 2004 stand fest, dass die Endrunde der 19. Fussball-WM in Sudafrika ausgetragen werden soll und damit erstmalig auf dem afrikanischen Erdteil. Vom 11. Juni bis zum 11. Juli 2010 fand das Turnier in Sudafrika statt. Aufgrund eines neuen von der FIFA festgelegten Rotationsprinzips wurden fur die Fussball-WM 2010 nur Bewerbungen von afrikanischen Landern akzeptiert. Neben Sudafrika verblieben nur noch die nordafrikanischen Staaten Agypten und Marokko in der engeren Auswahl. Sudafrika verfugte bereits uber Erfahrungen, Wissen und Kompetenzen mit sportlichen Grossevents, jedoch in keinster Weise mit der Grosse und des Ausmasses einer Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft. So wurde von der Kaprepublik die Fussball-Afrikameisterschaft der Herren und Damen ausgerichtet, desweiteren 1995 die Rugby-Weltmeisterschaft oder auch der Confederations Cup im Jahre 2009. Aber die Fussball-WM 2010 hat alle bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt ausgetragenen Sportereignisse um ein vielfaches ubertroffen. Deutschland hat als WM-austragendes Land 2006 ein grossartiges und beeindruckendes Erbe hinterlassen, an dem viele Fussballfans, sei es vor dem Fernseher oder vor Ort, das Turnier in Sudafrika messen und vergleichen werden. Der ehemalige sudafrikanische Staatsprasident Thabo Mbeki war uberzeugt, dass die Fussball-WM einen grossen Beitrag nicht nur zu Sudafrikas Sozialwirtschaftswachstum, sondern erwartet er auch eine positive Entwicklung des gesamten Kontinents

Vor allem durch fahige und engagierte Fachkrafte in allen Bereichen konnen Firmen einen Vorsprung gewinnen. Enge staatliche Regulierung und Kontrolle sind ein Nachteil fur die Pharmabranche. Preisvorgaben und -richtlinien sorgen fur weitere Spannungen im Markt. Die Vielfalt der riesigen Pharmabranche, die im Jahr 2007 allein 4,5 Milliarden in die Forschung investierte, ist damit noch nicht zu Ende
