1794. A translation of the following history of the Mission of the
United Brethren among the North American Indians was much wished
for by the Brethren in England and America. The delay in
translating the work occasioned in the completion of it tended to
its improvement, as several observations and amendments suggested
by the author and North American missionaries were carefully
attended to in the translation. Due to the age and scarcity of the
original we reproduced, some pages may be spotty, faded or
difficult to read. Written in Old English.
