Studies and Essays relating to "A Theology of Becoming" Cross and
Resurrection The Resurrection as Process The Kurios Question
Eucharist and Passover Righteousness and Justice Evil and the Devil
God: Other, Immanent, Transcendent Why Worship? Why Pray? Morality
and Motivation Becoming Christian "A Theology of Becoming"
introduced a new form of process theology, based on biblical study
rather than philosophy or science. These essays modify and develop
the ideas given there, as well as extending the theology into
spirituality and ethics. The studies provide exciting new insights
into the thought of the New Testament, which challenge traditional
Christianity and provide an alternative understanding, more
accessible to the modern world.
The first part of this book contains papers on various themes
related to martyrdom - the martyrdom of St John, the messianic
affliction, the relationship of prophet and martyr, the Jewish
tradition of martyrdom, the relationship of the early liturgy to
martyr thought and a broad overview of the early Christian martyr
concept. These are followed by a challenging study of the doctrine
of the sinlessness of Jesus, its relationship to the incarnation
and the atonement and the biblical texts on which it is based. The
book is aimed both at academic theologians and at educated
enquirers.

A series of bizarre deaths is accompanied by a strange phenomenon
for Fionagh and John. They appear to have lived part of their life
twice, with very different outcomes. Then they discover that they
are part of the enactment of an ancient prophecy and time is
quickly running out. Can they stop its final fulfilment, the
destruction of the universe by Evil? Helped by their partners and
friends and by the eccentric Dr d'Aubert, they struggle to decipher
the mysterious prediction, but will they understand it in time and,
if so, what can they do to prevent its ultimate victory.
This romantic thriller, with a historical twist, is full of the
unexpected. A surprise inheritance, a beautiful girl and a
not-so-pleasant young man are only the beginning of Martin Aisby's
adventures. He finds himself involved with an Elizabethan ghost, a
mysterious riddle and a hidden treasure that links the past to the
present before all is finally settled. Populated by characters like
the urbane James Culpepper and the gentlemanly butler, Forbes, as
well as the rough, Yorkshire farmer, Geoff Holmes, and the cockney
taxi-driver, Bert Hall, the story evokes nostalgia, humour,
curiosity and excitement. It will appeal to all who like mystery,
history and romance.
I wrote a book of poetry. Don't get the wrong impression - It
wasn't full of meaning And erudite expression. It wasn't the
epitome Of great poetic style, But it had a lot of funny rhymes
That really made me smile.
