A local biker-gang leader (Mickey Rourke), despite reforming his
ways, is still the hero of local adolescents. His younger brother
(Matt Dillon) idolises him, even though his mentor strives to
persuade him that he has done nothing to be proud of. Shot in black
and white (with occasional touches of colour), this is an
atmospheric rites-of-passage tale with a musical score by Stewart
Copeland and featuring many members of the so-called eighties 'Brat
Pack'.

Clint Eastwood western triple bill in which he both stars and
directs. In 'Pale Rider' a community of gold mining prospectors
comes under attack from a gang of marauders, who are after the
prospectors' land. Young Megan Wheeler (Sydney Penny) prays for
help, which consequently arrives in the form of the Preacher
(Eastwood), a grim, silent stranger. The Preacher takes up the
community's cause, and sets out to repel the invaders. In 'The
Outlaw Josey Wales', Josey Wales (Eastwood) is a peaceful farmer at
the time of the American Civil War who becomes a Confederate outlaw
in order to avenge his family's death at the hands of Union
guerillas. His obsession with revenge slowly lifts, however, as he
picks up various outcasts in the wilderness. Wales tries to protect
his new 'family' by leading them to a safe haven where they can
rebuild their lives. Finally in 'Unforgiven, it is 1880s Kansas and
ageing gunslinger-turned-farmer William Munny (Eastwood)
reluctantly agrees to come out of retirement to help Ned Logan
(Morgan Freeman) collect the bounty on a wanted murderer. The man
in question cut up a prostitute in a lawless town lorded over by
the corrupt Sheriff Daggett (Gene Hackman), and if Munny and Logan
want to catch him they are going to have to deal with Daggett
first. A gritty western which brought a new level of critical
respect to its director, Clint Eastwood, winning him the Oscars for
Best Picture and Best Director (it also picked up the Best
Supporting Actor award for Gene Hackman).

Writer-director Quentin Tarantino's feature debut, an examination of the aftermath of a jewellery robbery which has gone violently wrong, is widely regarded as a milestone of independent filmmaking. Tim Roth, Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi are amongst the stars making up the team of robbers who meet at a warehouse after the failed heist and attempt to work out who is to blame. The film includes the infamous ear-cutting scene and a classic 1970s soundtrack.
All four films from the karate action series. In the first film, a
United States team is put together to enter the world
championships. In the second, one of the team is murdered by a
well-known rival, so revenge is on the agenda for the rest of the
team. In the third film, while on a visit to his sister, Tommy
(Phillip Rhee) discovers that a gang of thugs are planning to ruin
the peace of the local community where his sister is living. In the
fourth film, Tommy must face deadly temptresses, high-tech gadgets
and an array of explosive weaponry after Russian mobsters kidnap
his daughter.

Lee (Jackie Chan) retrieves a valuable haul of art treasures from

involvement in what they see as their case, insist that he is
partnered with their own disgraced detective, the unorthodox James
Carter (Chris Tucker). Lee and Carter immediately clash, but the
two men gradually develop a grudging respect for each other as they
follow a series of clues to Sang's whereabouts.
