Meanwhile, the caped crusader is joined in his fight by new sidekick Robin (Chris O'Donnell), whose trapeze-artist family have recently been slain by Two-Face. Finally, in 'Batman and Robin' (1997) Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (O'Donnell) have to stop the vengeful Mr Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) from taking over Gotham City. To make matters worse, the venomous Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) decides to join forces with Freeze.

Luckily for the caped crusader and his rebellious ward, they team up with new partner Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone).

Nicole Kidman and Jason Bateman star in this dark comedy drama based on the novel by Kevin Wilson. Annie and Baxter Fang (Kidman and Bateman) had an extremely unusual childhood, with their parents using them as props in their performance art pieces. As Annie grows up to be a successful actress and Baxter an acclaimed author, they return to their family home after Baxter is shot and in need of recuperation. When they receive a call from the police saying that their parents are missing and believed dead, the siblings disagree over whether the news is real or simply their most elaborate performance. Tony Scott-directed action thriller starring Denzel Washington as John Creasy, a jaded former CIA agent hired by a wealthy Mexican family to act as bodyguard to their ten-year-old daughter Lupita (Dakota Fanning). Initially reluctant to take on such a lowly position, Creasy becomes increasingly fond of his charge as she asks him questions about his life and he begins to open up to her and discover a tenderness long missing from his own life. But his newfound equilibrium is shattered when the girl is kidnapped, and he vows to find the men responsible and bring them to his own form of rough justice. The film is a re-make of the 1987 film starring Scott Glenn as Creasy, also based on the A.J. Quinnell novel.
