Would you like to have the confidence, the kind of driving purpose,
that shuts out all fear? Do you want your life to be filled with
adventure? There are many kinds of soldiers, and the ones that this
book is written for don't necessarily wear a uniform. The missions
these soldiers undertake have more than just political or
historical significance--they are impacting eternity. Bulletproof
is a field manual for the Christian soldier. It addresses the
issues of fear and risk from a Christian perspective, using
primarily military examples and analogies. Holton teaches believers
how to overcome fear and join the ranks of the army of God.
Terrorism. Murder. Disease. Job Loss. Road Rage. Weapons of Mass
Destruction. Environmental Disaster.
What Are You "Scared?"
By every sense of reason, you should be. By faith, you don't have
to be.
God's soldiers are issued body armor: Peace that surpasses
understanding. But you must choose to put it on. Chuck Holton
reveals how to claim this peace of mind and rest in the sovereignty
of God's plan while stationed in our dangerous world.
Not denying legitimate causes for fear, Holton's balanced
perspective to living boldly as a Christian today offers refreshing
hope in the midst of rampant anxiety. Because when you begin seeing
things from the Commander's perspective, you won't have to dodge
bullets.
Until your mission is complete, "you are bulletproof. "
Story Behind the Book
"In October 2002, a sniper started killing people at random in the
area where I live. The community almost ground to a standstill,
with people refusing to leave their homes, drive the streets, or
send their children to school until the killer was found. What
disturbed me most was the reaction of many of my fellow
Christians--one of fear just like their unsaved neighbors. I felt
we were passing up a perfect opportunity to model the peace that
passes all understanding to a very needy audience. Since then I
have come to realize that the Bible, almost in its entirety, tells
us over and over again that we should not be afraid. A life lived
trusting God is a fearless, confident life that will draw others to
it."
Most guys spend their entire lives looking for ways to prove their
manhood. Some of their attempts are downright ridiculous. In a
culture steeped in passivity and addiction, many women make
horrific mistakes in the men they choose and pay dearly for it. But
how does a guy learn how to be a good man? How does a woman learn
to recognize him? What does manhood really look like? Chuck Holton,
former Army Ranger, Adventurer and international war correspondent,
has three men-in-training of his own. He also has two daughters who
will need to be able to recognize a good man someday. Over a
three-year period, Chuck made it his mission to nail down the
facets of a fully-engaged, functional man by seeking out timeless
wisdom of ancient cultures and the experience of dozens of mature
men. The result is a five step curriculum that is already changing
the lives of men and women around the world. It is being used by
church groups, schools and even single mothers to help their sons
to emulate - and daughters to identify - powerful, passionate,
engaged manhood. Memorize it. Teach it to your sons and daughters.
Apply its principles to your own life. The world desperately needs
your help making men.
Task Force Valor
Explosive Ordnance Disposal-The Bomb Squad

room for error.
A DEADLY EXPLOSIVE
A new specialty explosive is on the black market: ITEB looks like
water, but when it's exposed to air, the effects are lethal The
United States government is frantic to keep it from our shores.
Staff Sergeant Euripides "Rip" Rubio knows how destructive ITEB can
be. He has already risked his life to thwart a horrific terrorist
plot involving the chemical. Now Task Force Valor heads to Panama,
on the trail of an arms dealer who plans to use ITEB to make a
killing-literally.
AN ADVENTURE ABROAD
Fernanda Lerida is a University of Panama grad student who jumps at
the chance to join a biological expedition to a mysterious former
prison island. But the snakes, bugs, and crocodiles are soon the
least of her worries as the group stumbles upon something they were
not meant to see. To make matters worse, Fernanda soon finds
herself alone and being pursued by an unseen foe.
A RISKY RESCUE
When Rip's path collides with Fernanda's, they find themselves
caught in the midst of a brutal turf war. Can they use the chaos to

ablaze?
Two Dangerous Missions Collide with Explosive Results
A suicide bomber blows up a hotel in Beirut, killing hundreds of
people. A young American woman is kidnapped in Lebanon by
terrorists. Connected or coincidence? Despite the government's
difficulty in locating her sister, Liz Fairchild, a reporter from
the States, is determined to find her...regardless of the risks.
Meanwhile, Sergeant John Cooper and his elite Special Ops team hunt
down Palestinian extremists in possession of a new undetectable
explosive that will change the "face of terror." When Liz and Task
Force Valor's paths intersect, more is at risk than their separate
missions. While maneuvering through hostile territory, Liz and John
realize they need each other to survive. Their antagonism gradually
gives way to cooperation--and something more.
Task Force Valor
Explosive Ordnance Disposal--The Bomb Squad
As the global war on terror heats up, the U.S. needs a team of

missions that have no room for error. For the men of Task Force
Valor--life is a blast.
A lethal new weapon.
Master Sergeant John Cooper and his Special Ops team of
explosives-hunters have a mission unlike any they've ever
experienced before. A new undetectable type of explosive has burst
onto the scene, and it will change the "face of terror" in the
world. Washington wants the manufacturers shut down before it turns
up on American soil.
A missing sister.
A suicide bomber blows up a hotel in Beirut. Liz Fairchild, an
American reporter, searches for her sister, Julie, who is presumed
dead in the blast...until Liz uncovers evidence she might be alive.
When signs indicate that time is running out for Julie, Liz is
determined to find her--regardless of the risks.
A stealthy escape.
As their separate objectives bring John and Liz together, the path
ahead takes twists neither of them counted on. Although God works
in all things for the good of those who love Him, God's definition
of good might not match theirs. When the mission goes south and
politics intrude on their plans, the team must rely on their
wits--and guts--to survive. Can they make it...with a wounded team
member and a female civilian in tow?
Story Behind the Book
"I met Chuck Holton a few years ago when he took my fiction classes
at the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference. I enjoyed him
because my life experience is so different from his. When it was
time to develop a new fiction series, I thought it would be fun to
combine his military background with my civilian background and
write a series right out of today's headlines. He has basically
written the male points of view, and I've done the female. Very
challenging and great fun "
