Music video director Samuel Bayer helms this remake of Wes Craven's 1980s slasher horror classic. A group of suburban teenagers - Nancy (Rooney Mara), Quentin (Kyle Gallner), Jesse (Thomas Dekker) and Alan (Clancy Brown) - all attended the same nursery school when they were toddlers. Several of them were molested by the nursery's janitor, Fred Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley), who was subsequently burned to death in a fire by their enraged parents. Now the horribly disfigured, razor-fingered Freddie is out to wreak his revenge upon the teenagers by slicing them up in their dreams. As long as they are able to awake, they can protect one another - but as soon as they succumb to sleep, there can be no escape.

In the future, mankind has been invaded by a lethal alien bug race, thirty feet tall and possessing the ability to fly. Freedom fighter Johnny Rico sets about training up an elite military unit in order to combat the alien invaders, while his girlfriend, Carmen, becomes a fighter pilot. However, in the heat of battle, Johnny is unaware that Carmen is being seduced by her dashing flight instructor.

Jason Statham and James Franco star in this action thriller adapted from Chuck Logan's novel by Sylvester Stallone. Following the death of his wife, former drug enforcement officer Phil Broker (Statham) moves to a quiet town with his young daughter, hoping to give her a better life. However, their peaceful existence is short-lived when Broker learns of the violence and dodgy dealings corrupting the town at the hands of local drug boss Gator Bodine (Franco). Broker soon finds himself fighting to protect both his daughter and the town. The film also stars Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth and Rachelle Lefevre.

In Superman: Unbound (2013), with the help of his cousin Supergirl (voice of Molly C. Quinn), Superman (Matt Bomer) goes up against extraterrestrial villain Brainiac (John Noble), who has been wreaking havoc across the universe, stealing cities and destroying planets, including the hero's home Krypton.

With Brainiac now on Earth, Superman does all he can to prevent it, and its people, from meeting the same fate. In Superman: Doomsday (2007), Superman (Adam Baldwin) goes up against his toughest opponent yet when LexCorps unintentionally release a powerful villain known as Doomsday. In an attempt to save the city of Metropolis Superman must engage in a fight to the death.

In Superman Vs The Elite (2012), Superman (George Newbern) questions the methods of The Elite, a new group of superheroes led by Brit Manchester Black (Robin Atkin Downes), who believe the only way to rid the world of evil is to kill villains. In Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (2009), Superman (Tim Daly) and Batman (Kevin Conroy) join forces to destroy a Kryptonite meteor that is heading directly towards Earth. After Luthor helps the Joker escape from Arkham Asylum, the pair plan to defeat Batman (Troy Baker) and Superman (Travis Willingham) and bring down Gotham City. The rest of the Justice League join forces with the two superheroes as they fight to save the city.
