Behaviour analysis has tradionally been one of the main areas and main approaches to psychology. It is based on laboratory research and in conceptualizations from distinguished figures of the discipline, such as Skinner, Pavlov, Mach, and even Watson and Thorndike. It has generated a science (the experimental analysis of behaviour), a philosophy (behaviourism), and numerous practical applications (applied behaviour analysis). For several decades it was even considered to be the dominant paradigm in psychology. This special issue contains scientific articles in the main areas of behaviour analysis, both as a laboratory science and as an applied discipline. Im schulischen Kontext sind die (Un-)Gerechtigkeitserfahrungen mit dem Handeln der LehrerInnen von besonderer Bedeutung, da diese das System Schule stellvertretend verkorpern und Schule wiederum als Exempel fur Gesellschaft funktioniert. Gerechtigkeitserfahrungen erfullen zwei Funktionen: Sie bestarken das Vertrauen darin, auch zukunftig gerecht behandelt zu werden. Und es entsteht die Verpflichtung, sich auch selbst gerecht zu verhalten, um weiterhin ein geschatztes Mitglied der Gemeinschaft zu sein. Daher konnen (Un-)Gerechtigkeitserfahrungen mit LehrerInnen z.B. das Sozialverhalten von SchulerInnen, aber auch das Leistungsverhalten, Aspekte des emotionalen Erlebens oder das Vertrauen in zukunftige Gerechtigkeit erklaren. Weil (Un-)Gerechtigkeitserfahrungen mit LehrerInnen so wichtig sind, stellt sich die Frage, von welchen Bedingungen diese Erfahrungen abhangen (z.B. Handeln der LehrerInnen, Merkmalen der SchulerInnen, Klassencharakteristika). Das Buch beschreibt Befunde zu den oben genannten Fragen und leitet daraus Uberlegungen fur eine optimale Gestaltung des LehrerInnenhandelns ab."
