Double bill of Disney's 'Peter Pan' adventures. The first film, 'Peter Pan' (1953), tells the story of what happens when Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up, visits the Darling family nursery and takes the children on a magical journey to Never Land. When they arrive they become embroiled in an on-going battle between Peter, his friends the Lost Boys, and the wicked Captain Hook, a pirate who has lost his hand and his watch to a hungry crocodile.
In the sequel, 'Return to Never Land' (2001), Wendy Darling is now a grown-up woman with a 12-year-old daughter of her own; but the daughter, Jane, no longer believes her mother's tales about Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, thinking herself too old for stories of fairies and magical lands. So when Captain Hook's pirate ship appears in the sky above London and swoops down to kidnap the cynical young lady, it's fair to say that she has to reconsider her worldview. Held captive in Never Land, Jane discovers that Hook is still out to get Peter Pan - but can she find a way to help Peter avoid the pirate's trap?

Disney's animated tale of Lady, an aristocratic cocker spaniel, who
runs away from home after falling foul of two siamese cats. She is
befriended by Tramp, a down-at-heel but charming mutt. They set out
for a night on the town together, and romance is soon in the air
when they share a meal at a spaghetti restaurant. This was the
first Disney cartoon film to be made in CinemaScope.

Disney's eighth animated feature is a musical extravaganza made up
of ten short films. Included are 'Peter and the Wolf', 'Casey at
the Bat', 'The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met' and 'Johnnie
Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet'.
When Roger and Anita marry and their dogs Pongo and Perdita produce
a litter of 15 dalmation puppies, they find themselves receiving
unwelcome advances from the evil Cruella de Ville. She has plans to
turn the pups into a fur coat and when Roger and Anita refuse, she
hires two comedy crooks to steal them for her. Once the theft is
revealed, Pongo rallies together a gang of canine friends and sets
out on a mission to retrieve his young, discovering them in a
lonely mansion, imprisoned along with a further 84 dalmation
puppies.
Disney's eleventh animated feature includes two separate stories.
First, Basil Rathbone narrates the tale of 'The Wind in the
Willows', in which the foolish Mr Toad tries the patience of his
friends Badger, Ratty and Mole through his obsession with motor
cars. Next, Bing Crosby tells the tale of 'Sleepy Hollow', in which
nervous teacher Ichabod Crane's budding romance with the lovely
Katrina is threatened when he sights the ghostly horseman who
reputedly haunts the town.
The classic Walt Disney version of the Brothers Grimm fairytale.
Thanks to a curse visited upon her by the evil fairy Maleficent,

Collection of four animated Disney features adapted from fairy tale
stories. 'Tangled' (2010) is a retelling of the classic Brothers
Grimm fairy tale 'Rapunzel'. While hiding out in a seemingly
abandoned tower deep in the forest, handsome young bandit Flynn
Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) is surprised to discover that the
tower does in fact have an occupant in the form of feisty
long-haired teen Rapunzel (Mandy Moore). Rapunzel, who has been
looking for a means of escape from the tower in which she has been
grounded for her entire life, strikes a deal with the dashing
outlaw and the unlikely pair soon find themselves caught up in the
adventure of a lifetime as they face magic, monsters and villains
in their quest for freedom. In 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'
(1937), also based on a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, Snow
White (Adriana Caselotti) is born pure and beautiful, so beautiful
that her evil stepmother orders a huntsman to take her into the
forest and kill her. However, the huntsman takes pity on the young
beauty and sets her free. Alone and lost in the forest, she soon
meets a group of kindly dwarfs, who provide her with friendship and
a place to sleep. But the evil stepmother is still at large,
planning to kill Snow White using the tried and tested method of a
poisoned apple. In 'The Little Mermaid' (1989), based on Hans
Christian Andersen's story, Ariel (Jodi Benson) is the mermaid
daughter of King Triton (Kenneth Mars), and lives beneath the
waves. However, Ariel longs to see the world above, especially
after rescuing a handsome prince from drowning. To this end she
makes a deal with sea witch Ursula (Pat Carroll): Ariel can live
above the sea in exchange for her beautiful singing voice. Ariel
soon regrets her decision, however, when it transpires that her
father's kingdom is at risk. In 'Sleeping Beauty' (1959), adapted
from another folk tale written by the Brothers Grimm, Princess
Aurora (Mary Costa) falls into a deep and endless sleep on her 16th
birthday as a result of a curse put on her when she was born by the
evil fairy Maleficent (Eleanor Audley). Only a kiss from Prince
Phillip (Bill Shirley) can wake Aurora, and three good fairies set
out to engineer that event.
