Initially Travers is unyielding and flashbacks to her childhood in 1907 demonstrate why her novel and, in particular, her eponymous character are so precious to her. Eventually she agrees to let Disney go ahead with the movie but will she approve of the final outcome? The cast also features Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman and Ruth Wilson. Thomas Newman received an Oscar nomination for his score.

Yorgos Lanthimos co-writes and directs this surreal sci-fi comedy drama starring Colin Farrell. Set in a dystopian future where failure to find a partner is unacceptable, recently widowed David (Farrell) is given just 45 days to find a replacement partner. In line with the rules of The City, singletons are taken to The Hotel where they are forced to find a mate and those that fail to pair up are transformed into an animal of their choosing and sent into the surrounding woods. Although David appears less desperate than some of his fellow guests to forge a new relationship, he tries his best to create a union with a fellow cold-hearted resident (Angeliki Papoulia). But after his latest attempt at a relationship fails, David flees The Hotel and into the wilderness where he falls in love with a Loner (Rachel Weisz) despite the militant group's ban on romantic interactions.

Seth Gordon directs this (star-studded) comedy about three long-suffering friends who hatch a plan to kill off the nasty bosses who are making their lives hell. Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis star as the trio, who conspire to murder the bosses (played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey) who are ruining their chances of success and happiness. However, their attempts to carry out their murderous plan do not go quite as they envisaged. Jamie Foxx and Donald Sutherland also appear.

Alfonso Poyart directs this mystery thriller starring Colin Farrell as a serial killer and Anthony Hopkins as the man brought in by the FBI to help track him down. Not long into the case, former doctor and psychic John Clancy (Hopkins) realises that the man responsible for the killings has psychic capabilities himself. With both men privy to the actions of each other, a psychological showdown ensues... The supporting cast includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Abbie Cornish.

'The Land That Time Forgot' (1975) sees a German submarine holding American prisoners in World War One accidentally crash into a mysterious island in the middle of the Atlantic. Exploring this lost island, the mixed crew of Germans and Americans discover a prehistoric landscape untouched by the modern world, where savage dinosaurs and primitive tribes exist in mutual enmity. The Germans and Americans must put aside their own prejudices in order to survive.
