Forty-year-old Julia Whitman is finally independent after escaping
from a controlling mother and an adulterous husband. Julia has left
her past behind in Missouri and made a new life for herself in
Scottsdale, Arizona. She and her friend Lauren have opened their
interior design business, Touch of Jules, and are enjoying
successful business and personal lives. Twenty-four-year-old Austin
James has also escaped home in a move that has sent him across the
country from North Carolina to Phoenix, Arizona, to finish college
and start his own life. Neither is looking for love, but when the
two meet, an attraction ignites. To Julia, Austin seems mature
beyond his years; he makes her feel things she hasn't felt in a
very long time. Austin is shocked when he discovers that Julia's so
much older, but he knows that she holds his heart in a way no one
else does. Can they defy conventional rules to forge a relationship
that withstands the judgment of their families, friends, and
society?
A launch can mean something different to different people. If you
are published traditionally, the launch is the day the book arrives
at bookstores. However, being independently published, the launch
is a date you decide to launch your marketing for your book. For
most independent publishers, the book arrives on Amazon quickly,
depending on which on-demand print publishers. With traditional
publishing, it is imperative that your launch take place quickly.
As little as 10 days of poor sales in the book store, the store may
ship it back to the distributor. At that point, your launch has
fizzled. Developing your launch plan well in advance is mandatory
for a traditionally published book. It is, therefore, wise of indie
published authors to get their marketing underway before the book
is actually available. Although there are various reasons why this
often doesn't happen with indie publishing, there should be some
pre-planning. In this book, there are two standard modes of
launching your book. This is not a comprehensive step-by-step
approach, but it is a beginning place to look at what goes into the
launch phase of book publishing.

Testimonial: Connie Gave Me Direction and Inspiration I have always
wanted to write a book, but did not know how and where to start;
Connie gave me direction and inspiration. I didn't have the time to
work on my two books, a children's book and a gluten free cookbook.
I am almost done with the children's book and I am in the reviewing
stage with the cookbook. The children's book is published, the
cookbook is in the reviewing stage, and I'm working on another
book. -Helen Chin Lui
