Al Pacino and Greta Gerwig star in this comedy drama adapted from Philip Roth's novel 'The Humbling'. Ageing actor Simon Axler (Pacino) is suffering from mental health problems and, with his once-successful career in decline, he considers suicide. He finds a new lease of life when he encounters Pegeen (Gerwig), a much younger gay woman who is the daughter of his friends, and the two embark on an unlikely affair. As their relationship develops Axler is given the opportunity to return to the stage, but can he successfully revive his career?
John Matrix (Schwarzenegger), a retired Secret Service colonel, is on the trail of right-wing renegades and a Central American dictator, whom he had once helped to depose. The renegades have kidnapped his eleven-year-old daughter and Matrix is not going to rest until he has her back. The cast also includes Rae Dawn Chong, James Olson and Bill Duke.
Two hundred years after Ellen Ripley died bearing the Alien Queen, a group of scientists successfully produce a clone both of her and the alien. The new Ripley is different to the original in several respects, but some things never change. It is not long before Ripley is forced to team up with a gang of smugglers to repel the acid-blooded killing machines.
Three films from legendary American director David Lynch. In 'The Elephant Man' (1980), John Merrick (John Hurt) is a brutalised man, treated as a freak since childhood because of his appalling physical deformities, until he is discovered by London doctor Frederick Treves (Anthony Hopkins), who treats him with the kindness and intelligence he deserves. Unfortunately, by awakening his true character the problems continue, for he can never lead a 'normal' life. In 'Mulholland Drive' (2001), having narrowly survived a murder attempt and a car crash, a shocked and wounded woman (Laura Elena Harring) takes refuge in a nearby apartment. When she is discovered the next morning by the apartment's official resident, aspiring actress Betty Elms (Naomi Watts), she confesses that she neither knows who she is nor what happened to her. The two women then begin to investigate, and it gradually becomes clear that they have known each other in the past. Meanwhile, a young film director (Justin Theroux) finds that the mob are taking an unusual interest in the casting of his latest film. Finally, in 'Inland Empire' (2006), Laura Dern plays Nikki Grace, an ingenue actress whose latest role in a Tennessee Williams-esque fright of a film tests her to her limits. A parallel storyline shows an earlier attempt to make this film in Poland which ended in tragedy when the two lead players were offed.

Clint Eastwood plays a New Orleans cop who is on the trail of a sex murderer. However, it seems that they both share the same tastes when it comes to massage parlours and S and M games, and the lines between the pursuer and pursued become ever more blurred - with the finger of suspicion turning towards the cop himself.
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this theatrical cut edition of Mark L. Lester's classic 80's action thriller.
Remake of the 1971 blaxploitation classic with Samuel L. Jackson taking over from Richard Roundtree in the title role. When waitress Diane (Toni Collette) sees ultra-rich playboy Wade (Christian Bale) murder a young black man outside a nightclub, she knows that she will be next and promptly goes into hiding. Enter Armani-wearing supercop John Shaft (Jackson), the only man who cares enough to bring Wade to justice, and Diane's only hope of survival. Wade pays the drug-boss Peoples Hernandez (Jeffrey Wright) to have Diane killed, but Shaft is also hot on her trail and he's not a man put off easily. Shoot-outs and car chases follow.
