"Hope for Healing" is exactly what the title suggests. What makes this book different is that it a personal "survivor to survivor" testimony of what has been most helpful to me over the course of my twenty-five years of healing. This book talks about support, therapy, the question of medication and most importantly, faith. It is written from a Christian perspective. Victims of childhood sexual abuse do not need to live in fear and depression. There is incredible hope for healing
It is my sincere hope that readers will relate to many of the stories in "God Messaging...Will You Accept His Friend Request?" I pray that you will be inspired to keep plugging along - and perhaps even soar - on your own spiritual journey. I tell stories of "angels in disguise" and prayers miraculously answered. I recount some of the trials in my life such as infertility and unemployment - and tell how God, "turned my trials into testimonies" of Divine Providence. I speak of my experience as an abuse survivor, and how Jesus and forgiveness saved my life - and even more importantly -my sanity. My experience of God has been one of a very loving, and involved Father. I believe that He often speaks to us though other people, through nature, through events, through His Word and through the sacraments. He invites us to a close, profound relationship with Him. His is a love that sets us free
This book contains twenty-one songs and other techniques for teaching the basics of our beautiful Catholic Faith to young learners (and older ones too) The songs are set to well known traditional tunes, so they are easy to learn. These songs and "tricks of the trade" are perfect for religion classes, homeschool students, and for family use. They are designed to make memorization and learning fun
