Dissipative Quantum Chaos and Decoherence provides an overview of the state of the art of research in this exciting field. The main emphasis is on the development of a semiclassical formalism that allows one to incorporate the effect of dissipation and decoherence in a precise, yet tractable way into the quantum mechanics of classically chaotic systems. The formalism is employed to reveal how the spectrum of the quantum mechanical propagator of a density matrix is determined by the spectrum of the corresponding classical propagator of phase space density. Simple quantum--classical hybrid formulae for experimentally relevant correlation functions and time-dependent expectation values of observables are derived. The problem of decoherence is treated in detail, and highly unexpected cases of very slow decoherence are revealed, with important consequences for the long-debated realizability of Schrödinger cat states as well as for the construction of quantum computers.

This is our seventh set of Happy, Healthy Pet titles. These latest
books will bring our series up to fifty-five titles and, like the
others, they are books pet owners can turn to for the essential
information they need to raise a healthy, happy pet. All books
contain information on: c feeding c grooming c housing c health
care c what to expect from the pet c basic training As our series
expands and focuses on different kinds of pets, the emphasis
remains on making the pet a companion. Owners of more unusual pets
will particularly appreciate the expert advice in these books
because professional care for exotic animals can be hard to come
by. As always, the instruction on the books is from experts people
who know their pets intimately but always remember what it was like
to have one the first time. Happy, Healthy Pet guides are rich with
professional quality color photos and are designed to be enjoyable
and easy to learn from. Most new Greyhound owners will be acquiring
an ex-racer as a pet, so we ve chosen Daniel Stern, an activist for
the cause of Greyhound adoptions to write this straightforward
guide covering all aspects of their care.
No challenge is entirely new. In 60,000 years of human existence,
nearly every problem we face in modern business has already been
seen...and solved. We just have to figure out how to apply that
age-old tribal wisdom to our current circumstances. The Corporate
Tribe will take you on a journey to discover the essence of culture
and the secret to successful change programs. Along the way, it
will introduce you to the cultural traditions of different people
across the globe and provide you with the practical tools you need
to apply what you find to today's organizations. Through thirty
compelling stories, The Corporate Tribe will reveal what, deep
down, you already know. At turns unfamiliar and disruptive,
illuminating and inspirational, The Corporate Tribe offers a
powerful paradigm and skillset for tackling organizational and
leadership challenges in the twenty-first century and beyond. It is
a book for leaders, consultants and advisors who are looking for a
fresh perspective and proven solutions, for those who want to build
strong communities that are safe for diversity and ready for
change. Danielle Braun and Jitske Kramer are corporate
anthropologists. They look at organizations as tribes,
organizational charts as kinship systems, leaders as chiefs and
mission documents as totem poles. Travel with them to places where
spirits linger after death, magic is real and rituals are the key
to maintaining order and facilitating transition. You will never
look at your organization-or approach its problems-the same way
again.

heutzutage die Suchmaschine Google. Was zunachst als
